About this apartment rental
Entire lower floor (2,000 sq ft) of lakefront home. Separate entrance with amazing views. 3 private bedrooms plus sofa bed available in living room to comfortably sleep 6 - 8. Master bedroom has it's own en suite. Apartment includes a Peloton bike (your own Peloton subscription required or we can advise how to obtain for duration of visit).
Full new kitchen added in July 2023 with full oven and induction cooktop.
Location is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). During warm months go kayaking at sunrise/sunset or just enjoy sitting on the dock with a cool drink. During cooler months - hot tub and misty lake views to watch bald eagles dive for fish with many other birds, including Canadian geese and ducks.
For work trips, the property is very close to Microsoft, Bellevue (Amazon, Google, Salesforce, etc), T-Mobile and many more.
The area is totally self-contained. We live upstairs but won't disturb you. We can be contacted by phone or text at any time.
Other amenities:
- We also have a Tesla 80A charger available at no additional cost.
- The property has a full-size sofa bed in the living room; linen is only available if requested in advance and not guaranteed. If available, we charge an additional $50/per person/per night.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place right on Lake Sammamish. The master suite felt luxurious, and there were two other very nice bedrooms. A brand new kitchen, and a living area made it easy for a group of us to relax whether it be inside or outside. We loved swimming and relaxing at the dock. There’s a large patio space and hot tub as well. We hope to come back soon!

Without any exceptions, our stay at Mike and Roselyn's Lakehouse was outstanding. First, the location on Lake Samm is perfect, West side with morning sunrise and beautiful sun on the water, dock and deck all day. The house, kitchen, bedrooms and outside patio are all wonderfully furnished, with most importantly some of the most comfortable king size beds that we have ever stay in. That said, with beautiful summer days, all you want to do is spend the entire time down on the dock and Lake swimming, or evenings on the patio with the BBQ and Jacuzzi . I know this sounds like an advertisement, but the place is perfect for a Lake family vacation. And Mike and Rosalyn are great hosts, always available to answer questions and help out if needed. Will plan on returning same time next year.

Beautiful location, beautiful lakehouse with a beautiful view. Mike&Rosalyn were awesome answering our questions&concerns. My only wish was that the landscaping around the patio was trimmed back to enjoy more of the view, and the jacuzzi worked properly so we could have enjoyed it. The grill&outdoor firepit were great. Easy to operate, and it was nice to cook out, sit outside at the table, and relax on the lake.

I stayed here for the first three weeks in October. Overall, I had a good experience.
I really loved the location, being right on the lake was lovely. This was my first experience using an induction cooktop and I loved it! The instant hot water in the shower was also a real plus.
Here are the less-than-ideal issues. The hosts were in another country and time zone. The night I arrived it was late, and I got lost. I contacted the host for additional instructions, and they were 4 hours ahead in time and asleep. The hot tub had cloudy water and no chemicals present. I had to clean it and add chemicals (with verbal guidance from the hosts) to get it back to swimmable condition. The kayak had ripped seat straps, the hull was full of water and the only available life jacket was a youth size. The property does have heat, but the thermostat is in the upstairs unit, which was not accessible to me without texting the owners to adjust it. I was quite cold without any ability to turn the heat up. The hosts did try to get me account access to the nest thermostat on my phone, but only after I requested a space heater.
These are relatively minor issues and I feel the hosts made modest attempts to help. However, with the rate I paid for my stay, I was hoping for a bit more buttoned up experience with closer attention to details like keeping the key amenities well maintained and clean.
I can’t say I’ll be returning, but I’m not actively encouraging anyone to avoid this property.
