About this apartment rental
This beautiful apartment is in the centre of Rome, 5 minutes walking distance from
St. Peter's Basilica and Castel St Angelo where Tosca threw herself into the river Tiber! Situated on the top floor of a period building.
There is the added security of an English speaking "living in" caretaker.

The accommodation consists of:
1 Bedroom with double bed and fitted cupboards.
Separate Bathroom with large shower.
Modern kitchen with fridge, gas cooker/electric oven and separate Microwave oven and new Samsung washing machine.
Dining area by the kitchen. Lounge with 1 double sofa bed (or two single beds).
The apartment is fully furnished with all reasonable utensils, plates, glasses cutlery. Towels and linen are provided. Our bed linen is all of pure white cotton.
Via Cola di Rienzo is one of the most vibrant shopping streets in Rome and sells the best in Italian fashion, food etc and is only 5 minutes walk away.
All roads lead to Rome and you might want to come back time and time again.
The period before Lent is celebrated as Carnevale, which means 'farewell to meat' in Latin. At Carnival time Roman bakers sell special 'frappe' (fried pastry cakes) which are delicious and the streets are full of children in costumes parading with their proud parents,
Nearby there are many shops, Cinemas, Pizzerias, Restaurants and Museums.
This area of Rome's main attraction is St. Peters, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, but food is what draws the Romans to Prati.
The apartment is about 760 square feet, on the top floor (7th) with a lift to the 6th
of a 1920's building. It is very bright with stunning views.
Bedroom and living room both have air conditioning. There is also central heating in all rooms, so that you can also be comfortable in the winter, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, flat iron and ironing board and hair dryer.
The narrow little roads around St. Peter's, the Borgo area, have a different feel and you can sense the hum of everyday life. Ordinary people live here and go about their daily business like their fellow Romans, who breath less holy air, away from the magnificence of the Vatican.
Prati is a great shopping area and after a morning spent in Via Cola di Rienzo you are ready for more self-indulgence and pleasure in the fabulous food stores.
Rosticceria Gabrini, Bar Cantiani, Bar Castroni in Via Cola di Rienzo all have a selection of food and drinks from all the world .
Bar 'Te' Cioccolateria in Via Sforza Pallavicini offers delicious cakes and breakfast.
The large covered market of Piazza dell'Unita' is ideal for all fresh and cooked food.
All these food stores are irresistible.
TIGRE SUPERMARKET is located in the next block to the apartment.

CLEANING POLICY
On arrival you will find the apartment clean and tidy.
We only ask our guests to leave no garbage inside the apartment.
We charge Euro 65,00 for cleaning for 2 guests plus Euro 25,00 for each guest exceeding the second. For rentals of more than 7 nights we can arrange on a weekly basis for linen change and cleaning.
TOURIST TAX is due only for the first 10 days of stay.
The daily tourist tax per guest per day is Euro 5.00.
Children under 10 years of age are exempted. Cash in Rome.
RULES FOR CLIENTS
The apartment can only be used for temporary and tourist household needs.
You cannot make the apartment your new place of residence or choose it as your permanent residence and subletting is not allowed.
The said premises or any part thereof shall not be used for any purposes other than as residential accommodation.
All building rules and regulations must be observed.
Between 1 p.m. and 4p.m. and 10p.m. and 9a.m. are quiet periods.
There is no access to the condominium terrace.

The central location is perfect for reaching most of the historical sites. Host was extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants and travel around the city. Property was clean and whilst the kitchen space is small we had no problems in preparing our own meals.

The hosts did a great job by providing the early access even if easter monday was a holiday. the whole appartment was very clean and well furnished. We prepared meals in the wll appointed kitchen. There are 3 markets within 100 to 200 meters. Fresh supply of meats, wine cheeses etc. The location allowed us to walk to most of the popular sites, Vatican City, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Fountain of the Four Rivers etc The hosts , the appartment and the location made this a memorable trip to Rome.

The host was attentive and check in was good. However advertised as a luxury penthouse apartment, it was not luxurious and is very dated. Amenities worked Ok and central in location.Apartment on the 7th floor. Elevator only up to the 6th floor and often did not work up to the 6th floor. Had to carry bags.
