About this apartment rental
Our beautiful home is ideally located in Prati, just a 5 minutes walk from the nearest tube station (Ottaviano) and a 10 minutes walk from the Vatican Museums. The living area is the heart of the home! Hang out with your family and friends or kick back and relax in front of the TV on the sofa.The bedroom is light and airy with a big wardrobe, a desk with a chair and a comfortable double bed. In the living room there is a double sofa bed and a single sofa bed. All of the beds are made up with fresh, luxury linens to ensure a great night’s sleep! You’ll also find plenty of storage space so you can get unpacking and start feeling at home right away. Our bathroom, bright and nice, is the perfect place to freshen up! Fluffy white towels and shampoo are provided. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the lovely kitchen, then rest assured the kitchen will have everything you need in it such as all the basic condiments. All the appliances are modern and easy to use - you’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! There's an oven, a microwave and coffee machine is provided for you. We really want to ensure that you have a comfortable stay here in Rome! Our property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ AND CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING HOUSE RULES BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL:
- please inform us the soonest you can about your expected arrival time at the apartment;
- check in time is 3pm - 7pm; the arrival time must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance, otherwise your desired check in time may not be guaranteed;
- CHECK IN PROCEDURE > all the guests will be required to present a valid identity document upon the arrival to be registered to the Italian security authorities, as required by the current legislation regarding short stays (also minors); each guest is required to sign a short term rental contract (possibly before the arrival in electronic format);
- according to the Italian law in Rome the tourist city tax is € 6,00 per person per night, applied for the first 10 nights (children under 10 years old are exempt); it is possible to pay the city tax amount exclusively by cash and in euros;
- for each stay the apartment is equipped with a BASIC supply as follows: bed linen (sheets, pillowcases and blankets for each bed - preparation of sofa/armchair beds or additional beds on request before the arrival); bathroom linen (one face towel and one bath/shower towel per guest); personal care detergents (one single-dose soap and one bar of soap per guest); toilet paper (two rolls for each bathroom);
- it is not possible to wash the linen provided on the arrival at home - the cost for each damaged piece will be charged if this happens; for stays exceeding 6 nights there is an extra cost for linen change based on the number of guests and occupied beds;
- please respect the other neighbors (do not make noise between 10pm and 8am);
- extra cost will be charged on guests if the flat will be found at the check out in particularly dirty and untidy conditions;
- baby cot available on request (linen not provided).

This place was great. Very clean and roomy. Great location. Very close to the Vatican, and a short walk to the metro or buses to get to other attractions. Owner was quick to respond to inquiries and made check in easy. Lots of eating places close by. Would stay again if we ever make it back to Rome.

We met the house manager at the property when we arrived to Rome. She was very kind to let us drop off our luggage before check in. We then went out for the day. We were notified that the people coming to the house to clean would be there around 5pm which I felt was a bit late being that are "check in" time was earlier than that. But it all worked out and they were finishing as we arrived back to the property. The house manager went over everything in the house when we arrived and showed us book that information regarding the house and the area. The house is just as it is explained. It's in a good area walking distance to restaurants, shopping, market and the Vatican. It was a great place for us to stay during our 3 days. Some improvements would be more linen bath towels, kitchen towels and blankets. There were comforters there but a little too thick for what we needed. I am sure if we had asked they would have brought what we needed as they were very accomodating. We were not able to get the a.c. to turn on in the back bedroom but it was not necessary for our stay. Also, when taking a shower the water can have a tendency to spray out of the tub so use caution but the water is nice and warm and feels great! We would stay here again if we were to return to Rome.

A deux pas du Vatican, l'apparemment est spacieux et d'une propreté irréprochable dans un cartier calme avec tout les commerces qu'on souhaite trouver lors de nos vacances. L'accueil et la disponibilité d'Iliara est très appréciable. Le seul petit bémol, est la place de parking dans la résidence annoncé dans la description de l'appartement est erroné. Je recommande vivement cette location pour passer un bon séjour à Rome.

We rented this appartment the first full week of April 2023. The location is excellent, nice and quiet, with bakery, grocery, restaurants very close, and metro not too far. The appartment is spacious, like shown. However: we had no heating ! Temperatures outside were between 12C and 16C max. and inside the appartment, which gets no sun, it was cold. Heating never worked, our landry stayed humid for days and bath towels never dried. I contacted the rental agency on the first day, but they simply said it was impossible to find an electrician! We were told to use the AC and to put it on heat... Not a solution! So we were cold, on several days. This "problem" with the heating (or unwillingness to solve the problem...) is not mentioned in the ad. So we asked for a small refund for this inconvenience, and were denied any refund! Dissapointing.
Also: the floor could use a good wash. It is dirty.
Too bad. This appartment certainly lacks the care it deserves...
