Spacious Algarvian Farmhouse with pool set in 5 acres of grounds. 7509/AL

Susan was extremely welcoming. The property is spacious, private and extremely clean. Well equipped throughout. Walking distance into town and beach was a real bonus. There’s a selection of top quality restaurants in Burgau…fresh fish and seafood readily available. We enjoyed Miam, Barraca, the beach bar….all exceptional. Surf school also popular and great to watch beginners and veterans sharing the waves. With regards to the property. If fancy gadgets or state of the art facilities are important then this isn’t for you. The bathrooms are dated but extremely clean and simply functional. Endless hot water in a peaceful setting is so much more important than a faddy shower with changing colours and jets….in our opinion. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The large kitchen was cool in the day and warm in the evening…everything worked perfectly….a proper farmhouse kitchen! The living room is gorgeous….it wasn’t cool enough to light a fire but everything was ready for a colder evening including extra logs in the stables. The terrace is large and has sun all day long. In summary, we had a perfect week in this property. Private, quiet, clean, spacious, convenient and comfortable. Thank you Susan.

We had a fabulous holiday here! We all (two adults, two teenagers and an 8 year old)loved the space - the house, pool, peaceful surroundings, and wildlife - such beautiful birds! It is only a short walk to Burgau beach which is stunning, really picturesque. We hope to come back as it was a truly relaxing break, the most enjoyable family time together in a long while! The owner was fantastic - showed us around, provided helpful information and was contactable should we need anything. The house is very private, wonderfully secluded. Thank you so much!

We had a perfect holiday. The house is much larger than it appears in the pictures. Everything was provided for a relaxing holiday combining countryside with the beach and pleasant walk away. Great value and I will definitely be visiting again next year.

just had a fabulous 17 days here, the most chilled, laid back and relaxed holiday ever! the property is about 1km out of town, a nice walk in to build up a thirst/appetite. the kitchen is fully equipped to cater "at home" if that is your preference though. Sue, though she visits the property every day, is never intrusive, and most days you dont realise she was there. if you do ever need her though, a phone call and she will be there within a few minutes to help or advise as necessary. the property is completely private, but with good all round views. set back a little from the road, you have views of both countryside and of the town. we were attacked relentlessly by mosquitoes for the first week or so, but that is not Sues fault, we just have delicious blood! i would not hesitate to recommend this property, and would definitely go back again, if only for the pool, and the privacy it offers, even form the rest of the property!
