About this house rental
Enjoy your holiday in this large and beautiful holiday home with plenty of outdoor space. One or two families can enjoy their holiday here and you are close to the forest. In the house you can warm up on a rainy evening in autumn or winter by the cosy fire in the wood stove, in summer you can barbecue outside and enjoy the sunset.
If you would like to go fishing or sailing on a lake, there are several possibilities, but first try the fishing club in Mariannelund. It is only 4 km from here and you can buy a fishing licence.
The world of Astrid Lindgren is only 20 kilometres away. There you will meet Emil in Lönneberga, Pippi Långstrump, Karlsson on the roof and other characters from Astrid's books. Vimmerby is also home to Astrid's childhood home, Näs, with a beautiful garden. It is also close to Katthult and Bullerbyn. A great place to holiday for families with children.
In Mariannelund you can visit a caramel factory and buy Småland caramels. If you would like to go on an elk safari, the best place to go is Virum Älgpark. There you can pet and feed the large animals. If you want to go swimming and enjoy good food at the same time, we recommend a visit to Spilhammar campsite, a scenic area with access to hiking trails around lakes.
