Nice but overpriced

Lovely place. Kids were happy to spend some time with the animals. Kristina is extremely nice and pleasant lady. It is close to Astrid Lindgrens park. Very convenient when having a car.

1. I didn’t realize the size of the accommodation…I was expecting to get a bit bigger house and with a toilet, for that price. I think it is way too expense for basically 4 beds. 2. We stayed in the middle of June and the flies are horrible. They were everywhere, trying to be in our food or on us. It was impossible to sit outside and inconvenient to sit inside the house, because it was tiny. I think that simple nets on windows would make a big difference. It was so hot so we had to open the door and window , but we were catching and killing flies for about an hour each time before we went to bed. 3. There was a fat layer of dust under our beds, because guests have to pay extra for the cleaning or do it themselves. So the ones before us didn’t do it as expected…and so it was. (See a picture of our bag we stored under the bad, when we took it out to pack). Same with the kitchen - there were really dirty cutlery. 4. I think for the price you pay, one could at least get some tea bags (one per day) to be able to make some tea.

Perfect for kids with playground and the farm animals. Very nice house with all facilities. Nice walking/hiking trails just around the corner. Kristina was wonderful and very helpful with everything.

A very nice place for a family Trip...we got a round tour at the farm, pet the very new born baby goats and went for the small hikes through the forest and farm land. Very close to Vimmerby with Pippi, Ronja and Co.!;-)

Very nice place for holidays with children

The property is perfect for holiday with children. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the property itself is very spacious and children friendly. The houses were quite cosy and the shower/toilet facilities and kitchen were close by. They were clean and well equipped with everything that might be needed. If going with children I would recommend joining the tour about the farm and visiting animals- it was very nice. Our main destination was Astrid Lindgren’s world and it was about 10 minutes by car from the property.

Perfect place for a holiday with children (animals, trampolin, play house, small tractors they can "drive, a safe and beautiful environment), very relaxing, and Kristina is such a warm and helpful person. We cannot wait to go back :)

Very good

Absolutely lovely location, with beautiful virus and lots of space for the kids to play. As long as you adjust your expectations to that of a camp site rather than a hotel, it will most definately be to your satisfaction. A pity that they closed down the restaurant, as it was a bit of a hassle having to buy or cook dinner after a long day in Astrid Lindgrens world, but take away pizza on the porch of the hut was a good and peaceful option!

Close to nature

Super friendly and nice owner, Kristina. You could get close to the farm animals, pet them and feed them in the morning. The little cottages where snug with 2 bunk beds and table/chairs. But other than that it was a comfortable little house. Having morning/evening sun being able to sit out on the little terrace was lovely. The farm store is really cute and sells really nice stuff. I would warmly recommend the place!

My only “complain” is a bit about the cottages. It would have been nice to have somewhere to put your clothes wardrobe/chess of drawers. The mattresses where a bit to soft so you felt the planks underneath. And the pillows really needs to get changed! Would also have like more English instructions.

Super friendly. Assisted in getting place for dinner booked. Lovely and very peacefull location. Nice kitchenette, barbecue at disposal. Would return in a heartbeat.

Awesome friendly host, we got an unexpected "upgrade" to a much bigger house. Perfect!!!!

There was no breakfast because of Covid. But our kitchen was so perfect we did not mind that at all.

Most beautiful place we have been to in years

This was the most special place we have been to in years. Not only is Kristina a caring host but she made the place a beautiful oasis. The animals are friendly and you can join every morning for feeding time. Perfect if you travel with kids. We could buy some vegetables from Kristinas beautiful garden - delicious and fresh and healthy. Everything is made with love and you can see this in every corner.
