Riad of charm any comfort with swimming pool without opposite and big sported garden.

Every aspect of this trip was amazing. We were group of 18, arriving and leaving on various different flights on different days. Before we travelled, Saâdia and Jean-Marc were easy to contact and we pre-arranged all the airport collections. The holiday was to celebrate my 40th birthday and my friends also liaised directly with Saâdia and Jean-Marc to arrange my birthday lunch. The riad itself is spectacular - rooms were a good size, all with ensuite and there's so much room for relaxing, whether it's by the pool, in the house or in the gardens. We were a lot of people but it never felt crowded. All the bedrooms open onto the pool which made for a great vibe as we all came and went, crossing paths while doing our own thing. Bouchra was AMAZING! I highly recommend paying for her cooking services - it's an absolute bargain for the quality she provides. Her food was delicious and she managed to house to an exceptional standard. The whole stay was so relaxing because she was on top of everything. Before we'd even thought about lunch or dinner, she was setting up and calling us to the table. Bouchra arranged taxis on several days with our regular driver Rascid and he in turn booked additional drivers when there was a larger group travelling and also arranged for the hammam to be available for us and several of us had a body scrub and massage. I've given location 3 stars simply because this riad is outside Marrakech centre. It's a 25 minute drive into town which is no problem at all and with a large group was very affordable to take taxis. If you want to be walking distance to the medina, this isn't the riad for you but if you want to relax by the pool, be treated to delicious cooking and looked after by an incredible group of staff, you won't find anywhere better than Riad Souiguia.

Myself, family and friends (17 of us in all) spent the most incredible week at Riad Souiguia. Bouchra and her team made sure we were well fed with the most amazing Moroccan cuisine and were more than happy to assist with anything and everything.  I speak very basic French and could communicate fairly well, though Bouchra had a pretty decent translation app on her phone which aided communication greatly. If I was ever to return (and I would really love to) I hope to be able to learn some more French as I would love to get to know the staff better. They treated us so very warmly and I would have liked to be able to express my gratitude to them properly. The Riad itself was great. 7 rooms surrounding the pool, with a large Morrocan lounge with a fireplace for chillier months and kitchen set off to one side. We amused ourselves with the mini golf and table tennis and chilled in the berber tent in the garden. The pool was very cold as we stayed in January but that didn't stop our crazy lot using it for an endurance competition! I highly recommend anyone staying at Riad Souiguia to book the Mechoui evening with the local folk group. We booked this for the evening of my 40th birthday and I am so glad I did. The staff lit candles everywhere, decorated the berber tent and lit a small fire and then the folk singers/dancers arrived. I was overwhelmed at how magical it was and loved that the staff all got involved with the dancing. After feasting on the lamb, the folk group continued to entertain us in the lounge. A birthday I will never forget, and will find hard to top! Thank you to all, on behalf of myself and all of my family and friends. 🙏
