About this villa rental
There are more waterfalls per square mile in the Western Upper Peninsula than almost anywhere in the Midwest. Five named cascades along Black River Road. Agate Falls. Bond Falls. Alpen Villa 5 puts you in the center of it — and the Iron Belle Trail runs right through the region for cyclists and hikers looking for real distance in real wilderness.
The condo is 1,000 square feet built for eight: two bedrooms, a full bathroom plus a half bath, a well-equipped kitchen, and a wood-burning fireplace with firewood provided. Grill on your private balcony, soak in the hot tub on the lower deck shared with Alpen Villa 6, and wind down at one of the two community firepits at the ends of the building. Inside, Pac-Man is always available.
Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort is steps away in winter. Come summer, this is a true four-season basecamp. Alpen Villa 5 connects to Alpen Villa 6 for groups of up to 16.

Fantastic trail side condo! Clean and comfortable. Nice kitchen.Hot tub is wonderful.WI-FI is a little slow. Front door key pad is a little tricky.

Trailside at Big Powderhorn Ski resort in the U.P. of Michigan. I've had previous stays in this condo but since the new ownership the renovations they have done have made it much nicer. Well stocked kitchen, you can leave your spices and appliances at home. New outdoor hot tubs. Wonderful warm natural fireplace, new fixtures and carpet throughout. A very comfortable place to stay that's right off one of the gentler slopes of Big Powderhorn and from which you can ski down to chairs that will take you anywhere on the mountain!
