HERITAGE VILLA DEA RUSTICA

This was a wonderful place to stay for 10 days in July. The garden is a delight with the pool, garden furniture and shade from mature trees. We spent more time outside than in. The house is old and very well refurbished with everything you need. Thick stone walls and small windows means it stays cool indoors even without the aircon. Krk island is busy but the villa is in a quiet location so very peaceful. You really need a car to get to most places although there is a local restaurant within walking distance. There are good supermarkets about 7 mins in the car and the beaches and port of Malinsaka is about 10 minutes, Lots of shops and restaurants and all the tourist stuff you need. The towns of Krk and Vrbnik are well worth a visit and there are lots of other beaches on the island. These are not sandy, you need beach shoes and will often have to climb over rocks but the swimming is wonderful.

We had lovely holidays in Deno’s and Andreas house with our three children. The house is carefully restored with fine sense for details and the garden is absolutely fabulous. What everything we needed. Take plenty of books with you, there are many places to just sit down in the shadow (or sun) in the garden and you can just zoom out of the reality for couple of hours. The pool is great and the kids loved it. We came with bikes and cycled around from beach to beach, not needing a car much which we always prefer. Malinska is a little harbor with everything you need and not with too many people. Nice natural and town beaches. Deno and Andrea will give you good recommendations where to go. All in all really nice holidays and we recommend this house and location warmly.

We visited for one week in July with another family and had an amazing time. The house, garden and swimming pool are so inviting you will struggle to leave to go out and make the most of the surrounding area which has a lot to offer, especially the resort of Malinska which can be reached on foot. Our hosts Andrea and Deno, who greeted us with a lovely spread of bread, ham, cheese and wine, couldn’t be more accommodating. Their house is stunning and immaculately kept. It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday. A highlight is the fantastic BBQ area with everything you need to prepare a fantastic meal. If you are planning on staying in Croatia you will find this accommodation hard to beat.

This is a beautiful house that stands apart everywhere else we have stayed. The gardens...the pool...the furniture and layout of the house are perfect and the hosts make you feel as welcome as though you were family We visited for one week with another family and would definitely recommend you book a visit. Dea and Deno are wonderful hosts who greeted us with lovely cheese wine and olives on arrival and helped us settle in immediately We will certainly be back to stay and if you are thinking of visiting Croatia you should stay here A stunning place that you will struggle to beat
