Originally built in 1894 by a Swedish family as one of the area's first homesteads, this cabin offers a rare opportunity to step back in time while enjoying modern comforts. Relax on the expansive wraparound porch and take in sweeping views of the Mesa, Coon Creek, tranquil ponds, and abundant wildlife—just as they were over a century ago.
The cabin boasts a spacious master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a cozy sofa sleeper with a queen-sized bed, and a loft bedroom above the kitchen with a queen-sized bed. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you will need. With both indoor and outdoor dining spaces, as well as a full bathroom featuring a charming clawfoot tub, this home is perfect for unwinding after a day of outdoor adventures. This retreat is ideal for one or two couples, or a small family.
In addition to the local wildlife, you'll also encounter friendly domestic animals grazing on the ranch property, including sheep, llamas, goats, cows, and occasionally chickens. Keep an eye out for Lily, the barn cat, who will gladly welcome you with her affectionate nature.

The property isn't far off the main road, and you wouldn't know it. This quiet location had plenty of space for my dogs to run around. The sheep in the neighboring field were a joy to watch. The house has all the amenities you need or want. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended a day. The property owner made that process simple. Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful property.. I almost don't want to review it lol ....i want it to stay a secret!!If you love privacy, water and wide open spaces this property is for you. We started our trip to see the fall colors here and wish we could have stayed a week.

This cabin and property were amazing! Cozy and perfect for an extended weekend getaway. We loved the sheep and llama in the pasture and hearing cows from nearby fields. The cabin is back from the road so lots of privacy. And THE STARS at night! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
