You should also visit Minimundus and the Klagenfurt Lindwurm. The Happ reptile zoo is just as interesting as the Rosegg animal park or Landskron Castle in Villach with its monkey mountain and birds of prey flight demonstrations. The Terra Mystica show mine in Bad Bleiberg and Hochosterwitz Castle are a little further away but no less interesting.
Take a stroll through Klagenfurt, Pörtschach or along the promenade in Velden and you might spot a celebrity or two while shopping. Maria Wörth with its pilgrimage church is a popular wedding church and filming location for good reason.
A boat trip across Lake Wörthersee is also part of a holiday in Carinthia in a holiday home. From the water, you have a completely different view of the villages around the lake.
