Beautiful location. Impressive house. WIFI does not reach every room in the house. Stuffy when hot, rusty windows difficult to open, HVAC did not cool house down. Rugs laid over floors were curled and a tripping hazard. Sunken living room and raised platform bed in master bdrm tripping hazards. We had a great time because the gathering was fun.

Great space for a family reunion. A bedroom for each family and the pool table was in constant use, even though there was only one pool cue that wasn't already broken when we arrived. There were a few areas we felt we needed to wipe down before using but the beds were clean and comfortable. Great views, convenient location. Easy checkout and clear entry instructions. The garbage can was full so there was not much room for our garbage and the yard could have stood to be blown out before arrival but the fun made the slight mess a non-issue. Like other reviews have stated there are no mattresses in the bunk room that is attached to the upstairs primary. We brought air mattresses for the bunks and ended up just putting the kids on the floor in the primary. It was HUGE! I would stay again.

This property was very large and in a great location, but also quite eclectic. We enjoyed staying there, but upkeep needs to be improved. It's not worth 1,200 a night with the current level of repair and cleanliness. Overall though, it was a good stay and a fun time. The management and cleaning crew were very quick to respond to concerns, even though we ultimately decided to just put up with the things that needed to be fixed or improved.

For an older house… It was really lovely here. There were 10 of us in the house and we all had our own space. Great floorplan and the location on the river was stunning. Loved our coffee in the breakfast nook watching the salmon jump up the river. It was a fabulous location and close to town. We loved it.

We had a great time and picked Florence so we could enjoy the Dunes. It was fantastic spending the evenings hanging out playing pool, hot tubbing and just being in the same location verses 5 hotel rooms. There was plenty of room for our 2 year old Grandson to run and play which was great to burn off his energy. Also nice to have the washer and drier so we didn't have to overpack.

The house is large, and the view is gorgeous, but this is not the place to go for vacation. Like a previous reviewer, we too were looking for a place for our family to gather during Covid. The idea being that we could all be together and have family dinners be a big part of our vacation. But…the kitchen was a huge problem. The oven didn’t work at all, the stove top knobs weren’t on correctly and it leaked gas – burning the hair off my brother’s arm when he tried to fix the problem. The table in the kitchen area (which was old patio furniture from outside) was falling apart. It collapsed while we were sitting at it. Most of the kitchen chairs were also unusable because the straps underneath were broken. We had to drive an hour back to Eugene to pick up a long folding table to use. Trash was a real problem because the bear-proof lock was broken on the trash can outside and we had no access to the garage to put it in. All trash was strewn across the driveway nightly by the bear. We ended up hauling it to the dump ourselves so we didn’t have to keep cleaning it up. The hot tub that was advertised in the description was empty and partially disassembled. There were numerous other problems with this property, but these were the things that really disqualified it as a vacation spot. We called to complain multiple times. They sent someone out to fix the table, but he said there was nothing he could do to fix it. He also told us to just let the bear trash the driveway and then call for cleaning service to pick it up – every day (we did not do this). They sent someone out to look at the oven, but that couldn’t be fixed either. They told us they would give us a credit for the hot tub. We paid a lot of money for six nights at the house. They initially sent us a tiny credit. Unbelievable. I then asked for a larger amount, which seemed more than reasonable. This is not a property equal to it's price. No one will ever call me back or even email me. Two other small credits appeared on my statement, but far from the amount I requested. This is still not enough, but no response.

Although the exterior of property is beautiful upon arrival, there were so many maintenance issues it ruined our stay. Hot tub didn’t work, oven didn’t work, indoor grill melted and almost caught fire causing the alarm to go off and fill the house with smoke, half the lights in the house don’t function. Never returned my first call for maintenance, had to call again the next day but they could do nothing to fix any of the problems. Property needs maintenance. Side note, a large black bear woke us up at 2am both nights when he wrestled the garbage can open and left a mess everywhere. Would have moved the can into the garage but there is not access to the garage. Wouldn’t stay here again, paid a lot of money for all the issues.
