Charming Village Home on Hillcrest

Great host communication and cozy feel!

The house with its five bedrooms well suited our group of adults and one toddler. The kitchen was equipped with everything one would need. However, the carving knives need sharpening. The dining area accommodates a large group. The living room was comfortable. There is only one television. One of our party wasn't interested in watching football and wished there was a second television. The downside to our visit was encountered immediately. The driveway had at least four inches of snow and should have been plowed. The driveway is also very narrow. The listing lists five parking spots. This is probably true in the summer, but we struggled to park our four cars. There was no room for a fifth car. If someone in our group had had a truck, only two cars would have been able to also park. There is no street parking. The house can only be entered from the front. The walkway to the house was in need of shoveling. The stairs up to the porch were very icy. Four of our party are senior citizens. One slipped and almost fell entering the house. There are no railings to help one climb the stairs to enter the house. We tried to clear the steps with the available shovel, but it was inadequate. We had to buy a shovel. I did call the owner about the snow, but he never connected back to me. Please note the backdoor is the entrance to a renter who lives in the back of the house.

Great location for everything. The house was just as it was pictured and was roomy and clean. It was perfect for our get-a-way

Sam was communicative, kind and clear with instructions for the stay. The house was clean and as pictured. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was terrific, and we had a very lovely time.
