Excellent Central Village Location. Walk to every village attraction, but a quiet, peaceful location -- Tastefully decorated open floor plan with a true Adirondack flavor. Stretch out, relax and enjoy your comfortable getaway right in the village.
This home will be the ideal getaway for your family to enjoy together. Discover the convenience of being in the center of the olympic village while relaxing in a quiet and peaceful setting. Escape the hustle and bustle of home without having to isolate yourselves in the deep woods.
Unwind on one of our three secluded outdoor decks. The lower deck has a hot tub, and access to the private backyard. The middle deck is screened and has table and chairs -- nice for evenings with wine and relaxation (without the bugs!!). The upper deck has a picnic table, comfortable Adirondack chairs and a gas BBQ -- great for taking in the mountain sunshine.
Heated 2 stall garage - for cars, sports equipment or ski tuning. Driveway accommodates 3 cars perpendicular to the road for easy access. No on street parking available.
Our cozy den has a beautiful gas fireplace and large screen TV. The spacious Adirondack great room has cathedral knotty cedar ceilings and plenty of room to relax and unwind.

The second year we've stayed in this house, and it's absolutely worth coming back to. The hosts are very communicative and made sure our needs were taken care of. The installation of A/C units was particularly helpful, as are all the recent renovations to the house! Hoping we'll be able to come back again in the future!

Gabor's Grandview Retreat - This house was splendid. Super spacious, fully stocked, fabulous big kitchen, magnificent terraces. My family of 5 adults enjoyed every minute. The owners make certain you're greeted by lovely bedding, many towels and necessary paper products galore. The house has big windows yet leans into its wooded mountain vibe. Molly the owner is super responsive, pro-active and an excellent communicator. Our favorite, the walk to town is super easy, giving just enough separation for a quiet stay. We highly recommend staying here when LP is on your vacation list.

We had a wonderful stay in Lake Placid! The house was lovely, with a spacious open floor plan that made it easy for everyone to spend time together. We especially loved the huge kitchen and the hot tub after long days of exploring. The multiple floors gave our family plenty of room to spread out and relax, and the neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and an easy walk to downtown.The host was very communicative and responsive throughout the entire trip, which made everything seamless and stress-free.One of the best parts of the location was how close everything was. The farthest we traveled was only about 40 minutes, and there was so much to do nearby—from hiking and kayaking to learning about the area's fascinating Olympic history.Lake Placid is a beautiful summer destination, with comfortable temperatures in the 70s and 80s, plenty of great restaurants, and endless outdoor activities. It was the perfect family getaway, and we would gladly stay here again!

The house was a great base for a winter ski and fun vacation. Lots of room to spread out and amazing amenities. Molly was super responsive and friendly for anything we needed.
