Discover our charming holiday retreat in a former farmhouse for 2–4 guests, nestled in a picturesque round village with a church and thatched houses in the municipality of Süderholz. Enjoy peace and relaxation in the countryside. The spacious 70 sqm offer a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a simple shower room. A large bedroom and living room invite you to unwind.
Important heating note: The house is heated with a coal stove during the cooler months. You must operate the stove yourselves. If you expect a centrally heated property with automatic warmth, please consider this before booking. There is no Wi-Fi.
The large garden is perfect for relaxing, playing or barbecuing. A wood-fired sauna is available on request for an extra fee. A playground with table tennis and a football field is 100 m away. You’ll find shops in Greifswald and Grimmen (12 km); in Kandelin (4 km) there’s a bakery and a small village shop. Excursions to Stralsund, Greifswald, Lubmin and the Baltic Sea islands of Darß, Rügen and Usedom are easily reached by car, train or bicycle. The house is not directly by the water.
Local tips: Baroque Griebenow Castle (3 km), Greifswald with Eldena Monastery ruins and Wieck, Stralsund with Ozeaneum, Marlow Bird Park, Ribnitz Amber Museum, Klockenhagen open-air museum, Baltic Sea cycle path to Barth, Trebeltal and Recknitztal.
