Beautiful with touches of rustic charm, Lazy Bear is the perfect Upper Canyon getaway, offering quiet serenity and incredible stargazing. This well-appointed cabin features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private hot tub, spacious deck areas, a large stone wood-burning fireplace, gas grill, and free WiFi.
Inside, the open living area is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating, a large TV, and a cozy fireplace-perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and ample space to prepare meals, with a breakfast bar and dining area that keep everyone connected.
Step outside to enjoy the peaceful forest setting from both the front and rear decks. Sip your morning coffee, take in the fresh mountain air, or relax in the private hot tub surrounded by pines. The outdoor space also features seating and a gas grill for easy outdoor dining.
The cabin comfortably sleeps guests with two king bedrooms, including a spacious primary suite with an ensuite bath. Both rooms offer comfortable furnishings, TVs, and plenty of space to settle in and feel at home.

This cabin is pet-friendly for a fee of $35 plus tax per pet, per reservation-please let us know in advance if you will be bringing pets. Guests will receive a rental agreement via SMS text, WhatsApp (for international numbers), or email if no valid phone number is provided. Arrival instructions will be sent the same way on the day of arrival once the reservation is paid in full and the agreement has been completed.
In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your reservation please review the following policy. An administration fee of $35 will be charged to all cancellations 14 days or more in advance, unless a reschedule has been agreed upon. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to check-in will be charged a 1 night fee including taxes and are subject to all other nights the Cabin or Room is not re-rented. If you do not show up for your reservation you will be charged in full. Sorry, no refund for early departure. We strongly recommend that you consider purchasing Trip Insurance to protect your investment. Full details can be found on our website.Please note Cancellation policies for Christmas and New Years (Inclusive Dec 20-Jan 5) differ significantly, they will be clearly explained in your rental agreement. UCLC's signed rental agreement will take precedence over any 3rd party booking site policy.

Very cozy, and clean, had a snow storm come threw that took out the power, host was very informative and help us threw this.. will definitely becoming back again in the near future.

Overall it was fine. Only problems were the shower in MB is not working and tub in 2nd bdrm does not drain very well when showering

Quaint, quiet, cute neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and clean. House is in need of deep cleaning and interior paint. Cracks and stains very apparent on walls in master bathroom and bedroom. We weren't able to use either shower in the house. Shower curtain in main bathroom was dirty and had been there long enough to have mold on it, and main bathtub did not drain. Master bathroom shower was not adjustable for temperature; 100% hot was only option. Top of refrigerator appears to be overdue for its annual-scheduled cleaning. Hot water valve in kitchen sink was missing a stop, making it very difficult to turn off. Hot tub was filled only half-way. None of these issues were disclosed prior to check-in. Called host to discuss. They offered excuses comfortably enough to sound rehearsed, but no credit or concessions. We would recommend calling to ask about these items before booking.
