Large 2-level south deck overlooking 300 yards of the river with spectacular view of 100-ft Ponderosa pines, mixed with spruce and fir.
Located in the Historic Upper Canyon, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin sleeps 6-8: 1 king, 2 queen, and 1 double sofabed.
Features include: Wood-burning fireplace, central heat, washer and dryer, local telephone, 3 TVs (satellite), DVD, microwave, coffeemaker, hand mixer, toaster, CrockPot, BBQ propane gas grill, and 3 car parking.
Wildlife sightings: Deer, small animals, and birds, almost certain. Black bear and elk possible but not guaranteed.
The base rate includes local tax.
Bookings of 7 or more nights , Owner will pay local tax as a discount

We came here for a little getaway from the Texas heat, and it was wonderful! Felt like I was walking into grandma‘s cabin in the woods and for all the right reasons! Don’t get me wrong. This cabin is not renovated, but that’s actually what makes it amazing! We spent most of our time sitting on the deck, listening to the river and playing board games and just being bored and it was wonderful.

It was a very convenient place for a stay with young child. The outdoors space was lovely with a swing, wild life, river view, and the deck.

Very nice home. Its age is showing, with updates in the bathrooms & kitchen needed.It works well for a family.
