You acknowledge special risks may be involved with using bunk beds, loft, gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit, swimming, hiking and using the kayaks. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from using the bunk beds, use of loft, using the gas fireplace, using the outdoor fire pit, swimming, hiking and use of the kayaks and hold the owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that use of bunk beds, use of loft, use of gas fireplace, use of outdoor fire pit, swimming, hiking and the use of kayaks may present to children who are not carefully supervised. As well as the danger to any person using the bunk beds, use of loft, using the gas fireplace, using the outdoor fire pit, swimming, hiking or using the kayaks if a person has health risks, or if a person uses bunk beds, uses the loft, uses the gas fireplace, uses the outdoor fire pit, swims, hikes or uses the kayaks while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against the owner for accidents or claims arising from using bunk beds, using the loft, using the gas fireplace, using the outdoor fire pit, swimming, hiking or using the kayaks.

Do not place any items in the indoor gas fireplace.
Do not cook food or attempt to heat any objects in the gas fireplace.
Do not burn any materials (e.g., wood, paper, trash) inside the gas fireplace.
This fireplace is designed for decorative and heating purposes only. Misuse can result in damage, safety hazards, or fire. Please operate responsibly.
By booking this property all guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between VRBO Guests and VRBO Host.

Our overall experience with our stay was excellent. The house was beautiful as well as the property. In a great area local to many activities in nearby towns. Also a lot to do on the property with the provided boats and the pond.

Our stay at the Day Family Cabin couldn’t have been better! The cabin was very spacious for my group of 12. We loved using the fire pit and games they offered. Kat’s communication was great and got back to all my questions just within a few minutes. The cabin provided s’more kits and coffee for all of my guests which we throughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this place to stay if you are planning a trip to Helen and the northern Georgia mountains!

Our family had a great time at the Day Cabin. Beautiful location and easy access to Helen and Cleveland. Cabin was spacious and perfect for our family of 9. We especially enjoyed our time around the fire pit and made wonderful memories with our grown children and grandchildren. Would definitely recommend and look forward to booking again.

The property met our needs to house a few different family groups close to a wedding venue. The beds were very comfortable, great fresh linens and towels, though we could have used extra towels and definitely more hand towels. The Keurig was not working, but there was a coffee pot. When we arrived, the floors throughout had clearly not been cleaned and were dirty both carpeting and the bathrooms and hard flooring. We vacuumed and wiped up the floors ourselves. There were a couple lightbulbs out as well. So a few points that needed attention, but other than that, it met expectations. Beautiful spot and beautiful cabin! Very responsive host!
