Independent villa with pool for 12 people with Air Conditioning
Villa Olive Three is a detached house ideal for max 12 people, immersed in the green countryside of Putifigari, a small rural town located about 15 km from Alghero, easy to reach with a few minutes drive.
The house has air conditioning.
Surrounded by rich vegetation of cork and olive trees that create a typical Mediterranean setting.
The beaches of Alghero can be reached in a few minutes by car.
The large private pool overlooks the peaceful Putifgari valley dotted with small white sheep and the gentle tinkling of their bells as they move and eat their way through the local vegetation.
The villa has an enchanting country feel to it: the large double-height wooden roof provides a cosy atmosphere to the property, keeping it cool even during the summer months.
The rectangular pool with access from the staircase is 1.2-2.5 m deep, has clear, welcoming waters and a large sun terrace with sun loungers and natural shade from the trees.
The covered outdoor terrace wraps around the front and sides of the villa giving natural shade and freshness to the villa. The veranda has a large dining table and chairs for outdoor dining. The front patio area has seating for reading, drinking in the sun and admiring the view of the valley.
To the side of the pool is the outdoor dining area, where there is a large barbecue.
Internally the villa is very nice and cosy, very large and well distributed, accommodating up to 12 people
The living area is large with a huge open plan living room. The dining room kitchen has a very long dining table and chairs for eating inside.
The sofas are placed around the fireplace and TV.
The kitchen located in the large living area of the villa is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, large 4 ring hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer. In the kitchen there are plenty of plates, glasses, pots and pans for cooking during the holidays.
On the ground floor, next to the open plan lounge is a full bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and window for natural light.
The sleeping area on the ground floor consists of 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a window, mosquito nets, and blackout shutters:
- 2 double bedrooms
- 1 twin bedroom with 2 single beds (can be arranged as a double upon request)
Additional sleeping arrangements:
- 1 double sofa bed and 2 single beds on the mezzanine of the spacious open-plan area overlooking the living room (as shown in the listing photos)
- 1 double sofa bed in the living room
- 1 additional bed in the living room available only upon request and subject to confirmation
Next to the sleeping area, there is a bathroom with a shower.
Due to the particular position overlooking the valley, even in the height of summer the evenings are rather cool. However, for those who need it, we provide fans.
The 2nd bathroom with shower and window is located in the large living room and has a toilet, washbasin, bidet and shower.
The villa has free WIFI, which is useful for reading emails but not powerful enough for streaming.
The property has ample free parking
The property is fully fenced, the gate is manual and will need to be closed when entering and leaving the property.
Our guests are the only ones who have access to the villa. Privacy is assured. The villa is rented for exclusive use.
Its spectacular location overlooking the valley is what makes this villa unique. Peace and relaxation are guaranteed, far from the noise of the city, close to a small village where all services are located, you will experience real contact with nature. Far from the stress and frenetic life of every day you will be regenerated by the scent of the Mediterranean scrub, genuine flavours and pure air.
The villa is located about 15km from Alghero, the car is essential to reach the sea. The village of Putifigari is about 1km from the villa.

Great property
Authentic Sardinian villa
Absolutely stunning grounds - such a great space
Whole outdoor area is amazing - outdoor kitchen, pool, many seating areas
Inside also great - lovely bedroom, 2 super bathrooms, great kitchen and seating area, but really all about the outdoors and the view of the countryside

We are just back from a two week holiday at the Villa in Alghero. We are a family of 5 with 3 children (11,9,5). The hosts are a lovely family who couldn't do more to help. They met us and took us to the house so we could find it easily with them. They had to come out a couple of times as the gas went off and the wi fi went down in a storm and they were with us very quickly and sorted things out and came regular to clean the pool. The villa is very comfortable for 5 or 6 people. There is also a sofa bed. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms but even though it was very hot outside during the day the rooms were not too hot at night. There is a good TV and sofa area and a kitchen which is quite well equipped. The outside space is lovely. We spent a number of days just at the pool when feeling lazy. You are in the country side so there are a number of dogs nearby but we only had one day where it was annoying. The house is about 10 minutes from town and the beach. The beach is beautiful. We went to Santa Maria Pia most days. The beach is busy but not as busy as we thought it would be be. Beautiful sand and clear seas. Good cafes serving sandwiches on the beach. You do have to pay for parking which you can do by card and is very easy. There is plenty of parking. Children loved hiring a pedalo. We tried to go to one of the smaller beaches but it is so busy there that you are sitting on top of people unless you get there early. We also went to the inflatable water park up the road towards Fertillia which the children loved. 3 hours is enough as it is hard work for the children and for us to keep up with them and not get injured! Alghero old town is lovely. Lots of good restaurants which we would advise to book. Use Trip Advisor. Parking was OK in our first week but going into August you need to be in town by 7pm otherwise parking is a real issue. We had to give up one evening. Pizzeria Lu Furat good cheap pizza. Pizzeria Le 100 also really good. Sartoria Del Gusto did lovely pasta. Nautilus was recommended but not really for children. We went to Il Corallo which had lovely fish and pasta and slightly more upmarket. Lots of fantastic ice cream shops in town. The one up beside pizzeria le 100 was our favourite. On our one cloudy afternoon we went on the town tour which goes every 30 minutes. We loved the house and the area. Would definitely come back again.

The house is very close to the city but still in a completely quiet, serene and relaxed place. Everything worked perfectly in the house, the pool was warm and the hosts took care of us great with a very personal touch.

It is a fantastic simple house - even better than the pictures suggest. It is big, spacious and with a very nice terrace and a balcony all around.
We are a family with three children aged 9, 12 and 16 and we spent 1 week in the house for our summer holidays. We would have loved to stay for another week or two. For us it was great that the children could swim and play in the swimming pool (which is not too big and deep) in the morning; then we would take the car to Pineta Maria Pia (10 min.) or go to some of the other interesting places in the area and focus on culture etc., then go back in the afternoon or evening, and the children would then again swim and play while we relaxed on the balcony.
The house has everything you need. There are three bedrooms (and two bathrooms) and one more bathroom nearby the terrace. Living room is big and the house has air conditioning and wifi.
The area is very nice, with a lot of houses and big dogs guarding them - there is a lot of barking going on. Apart from that, it is a very quiet neighborhood. It is probably best to have a car. Grocery shopping is not very close.
Contact with our host, Maria, was very good both before and during our stay. We would love to go back!!!
