About this apartment rental
The apartment is approximately 34 square meters in size and features 4-star amenities. It’s the perfect getaway on the island for up to two people.
You can easily reach the apartment on the upper floor via a wide staircase or an elevator. The open-concept living area with an integrated kitchen offers everything you need for a lovely brunch or a cozy dinner for two. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed, a large closet, and a TV. In addition, the entire apartment features underfloor heating. For cooler days, the building offers a spacious communal sauna area (for a small fee) as well as a relaxing lounge. Outside, there are seating areas with beach chairs that all guests are welcome to use.
The apartment is located in the “Residenz zum Südstrand” (formerly Pension Weber), which was completely renovated in 2017. With its quiet location, it’s the ideal spot for a relaxing and comfortable vacation on Borkum. From here, you can reach the island’s beautiful Südstrand beach in an 8-minute walk. The main beach, with its popular promenade and bandstand, is about a 15-minute walk away. Here you’ll also find numerous restaurants, bars, and cafés, as well as impressive buildings, some of which date back to the whaling era of the 18th and 19th centuries.
The Gezeitenland wellness and adventure park is also easily accessible in about 15 minutes on foot.
We also recommend exploring the island’s green side away from the beaches, such as the Greune Stee wetland and the Tüskendörsee.
