Welcome to our "Seehund" vacation cottage! It’s perfect for a relaxing vacation for two.
Enjoy a relaxing vacation on Borkum at “Ferienhaus Heidi”—which features four well-maintained vacation rentals, two apartments, and a vacation cottage! The “Seehund” vacation cottage offers a cozy living room, a separate kitchen, and a separate bedroom—a lovely place to feel right at home. It was extensively renovated in 2026 (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, new armchair in the living room) and now shines in new splendor.
Whether after a day at the beach, a bike ride, or a walk along the shore—in the living room, you can completely unwind in the comfortable sofa corner with a TV (100 cm) or in the cozy armchair with a footstool. Free Wi-Fi is available for browsing on your smartphone.
In the modern, separate kitchenette with a dining area, you can quickly and easily prepare snacks or delicious meals. It’s equipped with, among other things, a 2-burner ceramic stove, a microwave, and an air fryer for toasting rolls or similar items. On Borkum, you’ll also find many restaurants that will treat you to delicious North Sea cuisine. (Please note that frying fish is not permitted in the apartment; we appreciate your understanding.)
The separate bedroom features two comfortable single beds (each 0.90 m x 2 m).
The modern shower room adds to the pleasant living comfort.

General Information: The cottage is located on the first floor. Bicycle parking is available. A washer and dryer are provided in the house. An ironing board and iron are available upon request. You’re welcome to bring a small dog (please inquire in advance and specify the breed). The “Seehund” vacation cottage has a separate entrance to the left of the house. During peak season, we cannot accept bookings for this accommodation for stays of fewer than 14 nights; we appreciate your understanding.

"Ferienhaus Heidi" is centrally located in the so-called "Blue Zone," so you have easy access to the house, the harbor, the nudist beach, and Ostland. A large public paid parking lot is located directly behind the house, with access to the property and garden.
The popular South Beach—with beach chairs, milk stands, and a designated dog beach—as well as shopping, spa facilities, bakeries, restaurants, and a bike rental shop are all in the immediate vicinity of the house.
You’ll be able to relax completely in the lovingly furnished accommodations, some of which feature a balcony or terrace with views of the sea, garden, wooded area, and the New Lighthouse. The house also features a beautifully landscaped communal garden with a lawn for sunbathing.
The house is “run by islanders”—the owners also live on the property and look forward to welcoming you as their guest!
