Cassiopeia House
The beautiful Cassiopeia vacation home is located in the heart of Borkum, in the historic city center. Built in 1938, it exudes a very special charm thanks to its blend of old and modern. It’s centrally located yet very quiet. It’s about 600 m to the South Beach, 500 m to the island train station—which has many shops—and 800 m to the North Beach.
Ground Floor
The first floor features a spacious living/dining area. Here you’ll find a cozy sitting area with a flat-screen TV and a stereo system, as well as a large dining table that seats 8 people. A high chair is available. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster, electric kettle, and egg cooker, etc.
On the first floor, there is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and hair dryer, as well as a large bedroom for 2 people.
Upper floor
Here you’ll find a lovingly decorated children’s room with a bunk bed and another bedroom for 2 people. A small living room with a couch, another flat-screen TV, and a stereo system invites you to relax. The provided travel crib can be conveniently set up here. There is also a second bathroom on the upper floor with a shower and toilet.
Outside
Terrace: During the summer months, a south-facing terrace invites you to linger. It includes lounge furniture and a large umbrella.
In front of the house, there is a beach chair and a bench with a table.
Set back from Süderstraße (approx. 30 m), this spot is perfect for relaxing in the evening sun.
In the garden, on the south side, there is a seating set with a table.
