About this farm stay rental
Very comfortable and beautifully restored farmhouse, comfortable, fully renovated, with a large garden and a large covered terrace (21 m2) situated in the Gran Sasso National Park overlooking the Majella and Morrone mountains.

Good for up to 8 people, 2 large double rooms, 1 4-bed room with 2 bunk beds. Nice interior and furniture. Most important the large terrace with roof ideal for any weather and with view to the Majella on one side and hills belonging to the Gran Sasso on the other side. Kitchen and baths with all comfort. The location is good to reach any hiking trail in Majella or Gran Sasso within 30-60 minutes by car. Nice beaches (Pineto) are 40 minutes by car away. The closer surrounding is a little lost by the close highway from Rome to Pescara. The next village is Torre di Passeri 10 min by car with several options for shopping.

We were the first time in Abruzzo and wanted to stay somewhere remote but still central for visiting various interesting places. For this the location was perfect: By car you reach several national parks within 1 hour drive, nearly all places of Abruzzo within 2 hours. The Adriatic Sea is even closer.
The house is very spatious and well equipped. It is located in a nice setting. The motorway may be heard from a distance, but this is not disturbing because the wind caused more noise most of the time (which we enjoyed). The garden is nice and remote, and the adjacent neighbors are very friendly and helpful, specially in emergencies. This is not a touristic place at all, but true Italia, and this was what we were looking for.
