About this house rental
Nice and luxury villa located in the hamlet of Fabbrica, a typical Medieval village built by the noble families of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. It sits on top of a hill overlooking a magnificient scenery of vineyards, olive trees and gentle hills surrounding the town of Volterra.
This is an elegant liberty style villa built around 1800, carefully restored maintaining its typical architecture. Some of the original furniture and furnishing, careful taste in every detail, give it an elegant feel, enriched by precious decorations, paintings and original arched ceilings bring us back in time and give us a taste of the place as it was.
This 400 sq m villa can accommodate up to 13 people. It spreads on two floors: Ground floor: built in kitchen, fully equipped; store room; living room with stone fireplace; large frescoed withdrawing room; dining room with a large crystal table, library; Bathroom with shower. Double Bedroom.
The first floor is reached via a stone and wrought iron staircase. A corridor leads to two double bedrooms; another corridor leads to two twin/double bedrooms (in three of these rooms it is possible to add a single bed for children); 1 bathroom with tub/shower; 1 bathroom with shower.
Outdoors: near the kitchen and living room is the garden with a stone floored loggia with table, chairs for al fresco dining. From a tiled staircase reach the lower garden with two imposing lime trees, behind which, protected by a tufa wall, providing absolute privacy, on a dominant location is the swimming pool (12x4, depth 1.30, suitable for children) with Jacuzzi relax point and overlooking a stunning panorama.
Distances: shops, restaurants in the village just 1-minute walking distance. San Gimignano 30 Km, Volterra 25 Km, Pisa (Airport) 50 Km, Florence (Airport) 70km, Lucca 65 Km, Casciana Terme (Thermal and Spa water) 25 Km, Siena ca 70 Km. The sea and the beaches are at ca. 50km.
The price includes gas, water, electricity, bed linen and towels, final cleaning, air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi connection, baby cot , wine tasting, welcome snackas.
