As part of the small Sierra Del Sol complex, enjoy provided firewood and a grill area. Stroll 5 minutes to restaurants, coffee spots, and pubs.
LIVING AREA
Find comfy seating between the sofa bed and two armchairs. A wood-burning stove provides a cozy setting, while large windows flood the space with natural light.
Unwind and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV.
KITCHEN & DINING
Whip up hearty meals in the well-equipped kitchen, which features a full suite of appliances. Handy extras include a coffee maker, toaster, and electric tea kettle.
When you’re ready to eat, gather at the dining table for four or perch at the kitchen bar for two.
BED & BATH
This three-story condo sleeps eight guests between two bedrooms, a loft, and a sofa bed.
Comfort awaits in the ground-floor primary suite, which features a queen bed, flat-screen TV, and en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
On the second floor, the guest bedroom offers another queen bed and a small flat-screen TV. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
Offering additional sleeping space, the kid-friendly loft is outfitted with two twin-size beds. (Due to the narrow staircase/ladder and low headroom, the loft is best suited for children.)
OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES
Step outside to your private balcony and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful mountain scenery.
Shared Sierra Del Sol amenities include:
- Grill and picnic area (open seasonally during summer months)
- Provided firewood
- Coin-operated laundry facilities

Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, board games, a stereo, and a separate mudroom with radiant heating.
Unassigned parking is available for one vehicle in the parking lot. During the summer, complimentary parking may also be available in the Ski Valley lot on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In warmer months, walk to the Bull of the Woods Mountain trailhead or hike to New Mexico’s highest point -- the Wheeler Peak trailhead is within a 10-minute drive.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Never was able to get access to the laundry room despite calling and texting every number I could find. They said they would get back to me each day. Picked up my child from camp on our way there and he had no clean clothes. Had to drive to Taos to a laundromat. Very inconvenient. The house was good overall. Small things could use some attention around the condo: Downstairs tv had no remote to turn on tv, lamp in upstairs bedroom won’t turn on, fridge door doesn’t have any racks to help store things, and fold out bed in living room did not have sheets and has a broken brace under the bed but didn’t seem to impact it. Poor lighting. Good location. We had a great time despite small flaws. Would’ve been nice to know the mountain had a closure while there.

This unit is at the end of the complex and we had no neighbors. View of the creek from the balcony was beautiful and we slept with the sliding door open to enjoy the gentle sound and the cool air. The unit was well equipped although a bit dated. Loft is more suitable for children than adults.

We were hiking wheeler peak in the proximity to the trail. Head is ideal, as an added bonus within walking distance of restaurants. Beautiful stream nearby, charming little village.

When we arrived, we had to remove nightstands from beds and arrange living room furniture. While things seemed clean, they had gathered dust and cobwebs and were not cleaned off and arranged prior to our arrival. Some minor repairs (e.g., kitchen drawers) were needed and the unit could be greatly improved with a little updating. More lighting in the dining and living areas would also be beneficial. Maybe because it was off-season, but the advertised cable TV was not active. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but there were some things I would have liked to watch after a long hike in the mountains. And the primary TV in the living area seemed to be missing a remote, so it was not functional at all.
We were able to enjoy the outdoors during the visit and the unit was a comfortable resting place, but it did not have everything that was advertised, there was no one to address the issues, and no one set the place up for our arrival.
