HILLTOP MANOR - A sprawling 3 bedroom, 2 3/4 bath that sleeps 8. Fireplace in family room to enjoy while enjoying the view looking out the wall of glass sliding doors. Pellet stove in dining room overlooking more stunning views of the rolling hills.

HILLTOP and TREETOP are free-standing buildings about 30 feet away from one another. The property also includes a free-standing studio where the property supervisor lives and is available to support with any technical or emergency needs. A hundred yards away is an outbuilding that occasionally hosts exercise classes that are available to guests. Otherwise, there are no neighbors in sight and no one else on the 100-acre property, though the town of Mariposa is only a 5 minute drive away!

The house is beautiful and the views are great, but the communication by the property managers were awfulHeather and Doug told us that Larry does not talk to guests and we would have full privacy, but the first thing that happened upon arrival is Larry told us to move our cars. And then at night I walked outside to see a car coming to this house, and it was Larry's family who was staying. They seem really nice and all, but it was a frightening moment, because we didn't know who the people were. It would have probably been a different scenario if this was all communicated to us before the fact, hence why Heather and Doug's communication is bad. This is not a private getaway like it says in the description. Since our stay they have updated that Larry lives on property, before us they did not have it up.Additionally, I want to add that when we arrived the house was littered with signs detailing guidelines, which is fine, but we noticed that after Doug and Heather said quiet hours are nonexistent, which is fine and we would have respected if there were quiet hours, it said on the sign that quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. Afterwards when I ran into Larry, he reconfirmed that policy.Lastly and most importantly, when we booked on VRBO, they also didn't mention anything regarding a property manager whatsoever until the day before our trip. They have since changed this, but to be transparent Larry is situated in the middle of both houses, and is hard to avoid him (and his family)
