On the outskirts, 2 km from the centre of Dulnain Bridge, 18 km from the centre of Aviemore, in a quiet position, 12 km from the lake, 31 km from the skiing area. Private: garden (fenced) lawn. Patio, garden furniture, children's playground (swing), parking (for 2 cars) at the house. Shop 6 km, supermarket 6 km, restaurant 6 km, bus stop "Dulnain Bridge (post office)" 1.5 km, railway station "Aviemore" 17 km. Nearby attractions: Highland Wildlife Park 30 km, Landmark Forest Adventure Park 14 km, Highland Folk Museum 40 km, Inverness 50 km. Nice property fairly rural setting, nearest facilities in Granton on Spey 4 miles away.Comfortable but really only 1 useable shower . Upstairs shower over bath and no not non - slip . So with 6 adults a bit of a challenge. Third bedroom quite small with only 2 single beds and very little storage and no hanging space.Kitchen and living areas good but beware step down into kitchen. A few minor problems left some notes so hopefully will be sorted for future guests. Nice enclosed garden with visiting chickens.

Spacious house with everything you need, conviently located to explore the cairngorms to the south. Also easy to get to the north, the coast and Inverness.

On arrival, house was absolutely freezing as heating was not on. Accommodation had not been properly cleaned as evidenced by carpets, hard floors and abundance of dead flies lying around and on bedding. No Welcome Basket so visitors must ensure they bring essential provisions with them. Shame as house is in an excellent location for travelling about the area.
