A spacious boot room ensures there's plenty of space for muddy boots, wet coats, or outdoor gear after a day exploring the Cairngorms.
A fabulous glass balustrade staircase leads to the upper floor, where you'll find a light-filled twin bedroom , a peaceful double bedroom and a family shower room set between them, perfect for families or friends travelling together.

The property was in a very convenient location for exploring all round the Highlands - use the Google map to locate when first arriving If arriving in the dark like us, would be good to have a lit up sign for the house driveway and over the key box Quality of some cooking equipment - baking trays, roasting dish poor and very old - take your own or use foil to ensure food taste not tarnished Oven seal was broken so oven performance perhaps not so good Some cooking utensils missing which would have been better if present Heating was weird - lovely and warm by morning but cold in the evening except for the Friday evening which was lovely and toasty without touching anything! Dining table was "sticky" perhaps needs sanding down and re-varnishing Downstairs bed was very soft as were pillows - upstairs bed more comfy Bathrobes in 2 rooms but not all 3 Said logs would be provided - 1 only with just a further 3 in the accessible store but many in the inaccessible store, plus no kindling - a bit mean given the price I thought! Towels provided but small so take your own if you like bath sheet size Garden size good and secure and seating facing sun in morning was idyllic! Good overall facilities - not much clothes hanging space For winter visits consider HotTub cover so not so cold pre / post being in tub Would def stay again but would take additional comforts with us!

The house is wonderful, we enjoyed the space and the nature around the house. Any questions or requests (like an extra blanket for us Germans :D ) were answered promptly. For perfect cleanliness one could remove the spiderwebs/ old bugs from the windows/ clean the windows. But other than that, we were perfectly happy. I will gladly recommend the stay at Rivercroft to friends. We would love to come back one day.

We have just returned from a lovely week with our family, including a two year old and a dog. The location of the cottage was great and the enclosed, spacious garden was great for both our grandson and the family dog. The peace and quiet was fabulous and our grandson loved the occasional tractors going past. It was easy to travel around the area from and there was plenty to see and do. Overall a great holiday making lasting family memories. Thank you.

Delighted to have found this house and we hope to return. Around 15 mins north of Aviemore, in a tranquil setting, it is well equipped and comfortable, and dog-friendly. A perfect base for all the activities in the area, we enjoyed the views, local walks and the hot tub.

We stayed here for a week with our adult children. This is a lovely house with tasteful decor throughout, luxurious bedding and a fab hot tub. It was immaculately clean and really well equipped with everything you need in a holiday house. We will definitely holiday there again.

We spent a wonderful week at Rivercroft, 4 adults, one 3 year old and a 8 month old infant. This house has everything you could wish for, plenty of space, very tasteful furnishings, lots of hot water plenty of light through the panoramic windows and of course the hot tub. The only downside was the changeable weather and the heating in the house, we had to turn it down, too warm! As a family we ventured out every day, various woodland trails, cycle rides, great fun, a really interesting visit to the Hiighland Folk Museum, The Speyside Centre for morning coffee and to finish off the week, The Landmark Centre, a great hit with all of us, especially the Dinosaurs, The Tree Top Walk and The Water Slide ! ( no charge to the Centre if you are over 75 ). In all, a relaxing thoroughly enjoyable week for everyone and a great place for a holiday,
