Full of personality and warmth, this eclectic home celebrates its original features while offering everything needed for a relaxing country escape. The inviting lounge showcases authentic vintage light fittings, a cosy gas fireplace and smart TV, creating the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the region.
The retro-inspired kitchen retains its nostalgic charm while incorporating modern conveniences, flowing through to a central dining area designed for shared meals and relaxed gatherings.
Sausalito offers two comfortable bedrooms, including one with flexible bedding that can be configured as either a king bed or two singles, while the second bedroom features a cosy queen bed. Both bedrooms are serviced by a beautifully renovated central bathroom.
A sunny enclosed sunroom provides an additional space to relax, complete with a potbelly wood fire and separate toilet, ideal for enjoying slow mornings with coffee or curling up by the fire in cooler months.
Outside, guests can entertain on the spacious deck featuring outdoor dining and lounge seating, perfect for long lunches or relaxed evenings with a glass of wine. The property is also dog friendly with a secure yard for your furry companions.

A very comfortable, homely place to stay. Beds were super clean and comfortable, fitted with electric blankets for colder nights. The bathroom has been renovated and is a refreshing green with good water pressure. Kitchen is cute and equipped with everything you need to put a meal together. Big fridge and freezer. 5 mins walk to the Farmers Arms and 10 mins to the market and Cliffy's cafe. Recommend driving into town, it's just that little bit out of the way, but possible with 20 mins in each direction. Access is easy though! Dogs enjoyed the garden.

Really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and well anppointed. Even a bottle of wine offered to enjoy during our stay. Great position. We walked to the pub for dinner and to the market at the train station. Needed to drive to the Main Street but it wasn’t far. Made a few meals at home and found everything we could need in the kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed our 3 nights in Daylesford with our dog. The cottage was cosy, clean and very conveniently located. The garden was lovely and spacious. Lots of heating options in every space throughout the house made it a very comfortable stay.
