About this cottage rental

One of the most sort after locations on the lake, ideal escape as a couple or bring friends. Open fire in winter, three queen bed rooms, spa bath, water views, works by local artists, a breakfast deck overlooking the lake, two bathrooms, sunny reading room, airconditioning and ducted heating.

Across the water from award-winning Lake House Restaurant, up the street from the Boat House and over the road for the Goldfields Walking Track - Lake Daylesford from the bottom of our garden is our playground and all just a few steps away.

Rodney’s beautiful cottage was cosy and the perfect location for a long weekend away with family. We were right on the shores of Lake Daylesford, so even when we had rain on our first day we could curl up with books on the comfy sofas, wrap up in warm blankets, and read our books with views of the lake. The sunroom was perfect for reading and relaxing.The kitchen was wonderful, with everything I needed to cook meals for my family. We had a fire one evening, and each night we could pop the provided hot water bottles into our comfortable beds. Rodney has thought of everything you might need for a stay. The cottage feels so homey and welcoming.Communication with Rodney was excellent, and he reminded us to book restaurants ahead of time, and had so many recommendations for local places to eat and activities. We can’t wait to return in sunnier weather to enjoy the deck and garden!

The property was just right for our families get together. Everything was clean and everything was on hand for us to enjoy our time together.

The cottage was lovely. 2 living areas, 2 bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. The log fire was fabulous and already set by the lovely hosts. We just had to light it and keep adding wood. It also had a great heating system throughout the cottage. The location was also good - not too far from town at all. Would highly recommend the Lake Cottage
