About this house rental
Enjoy a stylish and comfortable experience at this centrally located, art-filled home.
We have created this home away from home full of our favourite things; lots of spots to sit and relax, puzzles, films, books and artwork.
As our artwork collection grows, our home will be an ever evolving visual feast.
Pets are welcome and will love the huge, securely fenced yard.
Located right in the centre of town, you won’t need your car. (Really seriously right in town, so convenient!).
The space
Currently we feature paintings by David Bromley, Lucks, and local artists Jo Ruchel & Miriam McWilliam. Mid century German screen prints, and beautiful Japanese landscape oil paintings. We also have beautiful hand made ceramics by local artist Bridget Bodenham mixed in with some vintage china.
Our house has two generous bedrooms, one with a new King sized bed and one with a new Queen bed, and a small room with a single bed.
Our huge kitchen seats 4 at the table comfortably, with two comfy vintage Corbusier arm chairs that you can sit in whilst someone cooks for you on the massive Smeg stovetop and oven.
The home is heated by a fire place in the front room and individual heaters in the bedrooms. (Pack warm clothes as Daylesford gets cold at night!).
Cooling is by way of fans.
There may be items such as slippers, nappies, dog beds, cat food in the house, we do have a few bits that we leave behind to make it easier to enjoy the home when we are up with our babies. Please make yourself at home and feel free to use any supplies. We just ask that you let us know if anything is running low or hasn't been replaced during your stay.
Guest access
You will have our entire home and yard to enjoy. And watch this space, as a games room in the back yard is coming along with extensive landscaping including an outdoor bath!
Other things to note
We love pets and are delighted to extend a warm welcome for your pets to join you.
We ask that dogs sleep in the rear kitchen area, not on the rugs or furniture.
Please bring a comfy bed for your pet that will keep them warm during your stay.
It is a MUST that you pick up your dogs poops as our toddler plays in the yard.
