The house is located in the heart of a wooded park, sheltered from view. The town centre of Sarzeau is accessible by bicycle in a few minutes.
In the immediate vicinity of the property, the Château de Suscinio, built in the 13th century by the ocean, was during the Middle Ages one of the preferred residences of the Dukes of Brittany and their court. Recently renovated, it is one of the most visited monuments in Morbihan.
The region:
An integral part of the Gulf of Morbihan Natural Park, Sarzeau is the emblematic commune of the Rhuys Peninsula. With over 65 km of coastline, it is one of the communes in Brittany with the longest coastline. This commune, highly sought after for its quality of life, will be the ideal base for discovering both the islands of the Gulf of Morbihan and southern Brittany. The place is a popular bird-watching area.
The Rhuys peninsula demonstrates its strong Breton identity through its hamlets and small hiking trails. The region is also rich in megalithic sites. Absolutely must-see.
