About this house rental
Beautiful recently remodeled, stunning custom home in the Meyers area of South Lake Tahoe positioned next to Forest/Conservancy land with a 23,000+ square foot lot. The home features 3000 square feet of completely renovated home with an expansive great room, high ceilings, gourmet kitchen, BBQ grill, hot tub and swing set w/ slide.

Worth Mentioning
* Both the City of South Lake Tahoe & The County of El Dorado have become extremely strict in enforcement of posted rules which can be found in the rental agreement. Be sure to become familiar with said rules to avoid steep fines and visits from the authorities
* This home sits in a quiet (mostly residential) neighborhood and therefore extra consideration should be made to keep the noise down.
* This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products and 1 large towel and wash cloth per guest. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival. Laundry detergent is not provided.
* We have a strict no party policy, the registered guest will need to be 25+, excessive use of the property/ extra cleaning required/ failure to follow checkout procedures/ breach of rental agreement will result in steep additional charges.
Cleaning fees also include: Maintenance, supplies, restocking costs. This pays for guest consumables (Such as laundry detergent, soaps, shampoos, starter set of paper towels, tp, etc. For longer stays, we ask guests to purchase). Replacement of items such as broken coffee makers, portable heaters, fans, linens, towels and more. Regular trash removal from bear bins to town dump. We ask guests to assist with optional checkout procedures that are very time consuming such as start dishwasher, wash a load or two of towels. Close to south lake and the lifts

To start off check in was easy and management was quick to reply when I had a question about check in. Lots of blankets and pillows and towels for everyone. The home was nice and comfortably fit 3 families. We were very disappointed that the backyard didn’t have the kids swing set that was pictured in the description which is why we had originally booked with this house. I did noticed before check in that the picture was taken off but we were not notified of the missing swing set. The backyard was not maintained so we did not spend anytime back there. The grill was super dirty but we took the time to clean it as we didn’t mind cause we used it a lot. Not a lot of pans if you plan on cooking a lot. High touched areas like light switches and handles were not cleaned. Overall a great stay just minor things that can be looked at.

Property was just as described and was a great size for our family of 10. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything that was needed. Although not right in town it was still very close to everything. Had a great stay and would recommend.

Tub in master bath looks great, but it's fiberglass and very light, moves around, nowhere to hold soap/shampoo, so showered in the other bathrooms. Pretty in pictures, but not functional. Service staff left a downstairs window wide open all day with no screen, so huge security issue that neither me nor my guests were happy about since we were gone all day. No telling what/who could have come in since it was ground floor. We also fell through the cracks in the sectional couch a couple of times as they are so light and slide across the floor easily. Some rubber coasters or a rub or something would do wonders for comfort when lounging in the living area. Hot tub was great, overall a nice property, nice back yard, kitchen, grill worked fine. Just disappointed we didn't have a King BR since that room was the one missing the screen, so couldn't open the window at night. It got a little warm down there, so we had to move to a Queen room. We booked this knowing we needed 2 King rooms, so that was a huge miss. I would certainly buy the place and make it my own and make it better, but wouldn't go back as-is. Not overall bad, just disappointing in a few areas. Response from management was good, but had some confusing communications issues. No big deal there really.
