The home has a nice private feel with vacant land surrounding it. We priorities our relationships with our neighbors and we prioritize making sure their "quiet enjoyment" of their home is not interrupted. The neighborhood is great for low traffic, and nice walks or bike rides. This is a quiet neighborhood, and guests will need to be respectful and considerate at all times during their stay! QUIET HOURS: Especially is very important on the hot tub deck while honoring the 10:00PM - 8:00AM quiet times and NO HOT TUB USE imposed and enforced by the county ordinance. Me and 9 girlfriends stayed at this incredible cabin only a 10 minute drive from the downtown and dock access to Lake Tahoe! It was a spacious house that’s fit us all comfortably the kitchen was huge and we loved eating breakfast in the porches in the morning! The views of the mountains are beautiful. There was so many extra blankets provided as well for chilly nights. We loved everything about our stay! The hot tub was a highlight!

This particular property wasn’t our favorite place from the recent last 10 years of our yearly trip. The carpet was dirty looking but clean I believe, they should’ve had white towel so they could be bleached since they didn’t seem to stay fresh smelling, the railing was loose on the deck and probably should be tightened but it could’ve been the contraction of the wood, the spa on the 3rd floor balcony seemed sketchy with all that water weight (snow), the recliner couch was burnt looking on the opposite side of the pillow and hidden, the room colors were all over the place as if they purchased whatever was on sale, the lighting was a yellow color with red lamps. The furnishings looked like secondhand store picks.the driveway is a lot steeper than pictured. We had a wasp problem in the hot tub and outside lampshade but we were accommodated nicely from the property manager which we appreciated and that helped overlook our concerns. If it wasn’t for the property manager giving us an extra day to accommodate us, I’d rate the stay a 3*. On the other hand I’d only rate a few properties a 5* in the past 10 years; most were 4*. I understand pet rentals have their downside, but they should have a standard and people using them should preserve the standard for future tenants to enjoy.

Erik the Host is wonderful. We had multiple
Issues that he attended to immediately.
The property however needs some updating. A lot
of old/mis match items. The sheets provided looked dirty. The comforters were filthy. Erik was very responsive to all issues. He had his cleaning crew there immediately to try and make things right. The backyard is not usable space. It is full of weeds and Foxtails. It also backs up to a very busy road so there is a lot of street noise. The pictures in the listing were very misleading. Erik was a great host, but we would not stay there again.
