Pretty detached stone house on two levels in the ancient village of Metato, a hamlet of Camaiore (LU).
The house can accommodate up to 7 people (1 double bed, 3 single beds and 1 sofa bed for two people) + 1 cot at the normal rental price.
On the ground floor there is a spacious eat-in kitchen equipped with all comforts (fridge, freezer, electric oven, microwave oven, coffee pod machine) and a bright living room with fireplace, digital terrestrial television, stereo system and sea view.
On the first floor there are instead a large triple room, a bathroom with shower and services and a double bedroom with sea view (spacious enough to accommodate on request a baby cot, provided free of charge).
The whole house is furnished in a classic Tuscan style and complete with linens, dishes and various soaps.
A wifi line is active throughout the property.
Externally the garden also develops on two levels:
- the upper part is equipped with a small hut for storage use, a wrought iron porch with a large table for the dining and barbeque area and a solarium area and hydromassage pool (6.5mx3, mx 1.5m deep), all with a splendid sea view (the flooring of this level is partially in grass and stones and partially in wood);
- the lower part houses a delightful stone terrace with a wood oven and a more intimate and cozy dining area, also with a wonderful sea view.
The solarium area is equipped with sun loungers.
The garden is for the exclusive use of guests, however neighbors have the right of way to access their property.
The house is located at the beginning of the village of Metato: this has a large parking lot from which the house is easily accessible on foot and from which it is a few steps away.
Despite being in direct contact with other houses, the house and its garden are secluded and very quiet and particularly suitable for families, even with small children.
The village of Metato is exclusively pedestrian and has stretches of uphill road, sometimes even steep, therefore it is not suitable for the elderly and disabled.
Pets can only be admitted following direct agreements with the owners and at their discretion.

Mandatory services to be paid in cash upon arrival with regular receipt:
- bed linen/towels at €10.00 per person;
- final cleaning €100.00.
Optional services (only on request):
- cot and high chair for children (free);
- cleaning during the stay (for a fee and upon request of the guests);
- home chef/tastings/cooking lessons (to be booked well in advance and subject to the chef's availability; price to be agreed directly with the chef).

HOUSE RULES

- NO SMOKING inside the house, it is only allowed outside with a ban on putting out cigarettes on the grass
- MANDATORY SEPARATE WASTE COLLECTION, you will be required to sign a written penalty agreement of €150.00 to be paid in cash in case of failure to comply with this rule; Precise instructions and devices necessary for correct separate waste collection will be provided;
- FORBIDDEN to move furniture from inside to outside the house and also inside the house itself (e.g. beds).

Check-out is usually between 9:00 and 9:30: the cleaning lady will come to check the house and collect the keys. If guests wish to leave earlier, simply communicate the preferred time in advance.
Check-out after 9:30 is only possible if there is no direct change
of guests on the same day (unfortunately this rarely happens during
the rental season). However, we advise all guests to ask
for confirmation.

The house is located in a strategic point for visiting the Versilia coast, the beautiful Lucca, Pisa and Florence, the nearby Ligurian coast (Cinque Terre and Golfo dei Poeti), and the marble quarries of Massa and Carrara.
The house is also an excellent base for enjoying the unique experiences of the Viareggio Carnival (dates: 01-07-12-15-17-21/02/2026), Lucca Comics and Games (29/10/2025-02/11/2025, dates for 2026 still to be announced), the Puccini Festival for opera lovers (from 17/07/2026 to 05/09/2026), the La Prima Estate Festival in Lido di Camaiore (dates yet to be announced for 2026) and the Lucca Summer Festival (which will open on 04/07/2026 with the Jamiroquai concert, other dates still to be announced).
