About this house rental

The former hunting lodge, built in 1956, is located in Blankenheim, in the Reetz district. It sits picturesquely on a hill at the edge of the forest and is the perfect place to relax and recharge. There are numerous hiking trails as well as a very well-maintained bike path that runs along the Ahr River. Furthermore, the Freilingen swimming lake is just a 5-minute drive away. Shopping opportunities are available in Blankenheim, 7 km away.

We stayed for three nights as part of a circular tour of Benelux, Germany, and France. We were left wishing that we had arranged to stay longer at this property. It is a beautiful and peaceful setting with great views from the large balcony. The property is set within a forested area with access to a large network of walks. We walked a loop via Blankenheim on one day which was very enjoyable. Christian made sure we had everything we needed, and responded to queries promptly and helpfully. Would highly recommend.
