The first floor boasts a roomy open floor plan with plenty of light and views of the river across the street and local hills. The living area is inviting and offers a large sectional sofa strategically placed near the TV; pick a DVD from the collection and watch your favorite movie. This secluded getaway has an enclosed yard where your dog or dogs can run around freely. Yes, Wardsboro Family Escape is dog-friendly for a small fee! The spacious kitchen boasts modern appliances and utensils to make cooking a breeze. Perch at the breakfast bar, or gather together in the charming dining space. On this level, you'll also find one bedroom with a queen bed and one bathroom. On the second floor, you'll come across four more bedrooms, two of which have one twin bunk bed and one twin bed each.

This is the perfect getaway for families looking forward to getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city - just far enough, so it feels like a vacation but close enough so the drive doesn't take up all your time. The location is perfect for those who love outdoor activities and those who love to decompress and spend time in a beautiful place doing nothing. Wardsboro is an ideal representation of the typical Vermont small town and has the feel of Norman Rockwell's America. This charming retreat is located steps away from the historic Wardsboro Country Store. Stratton Mountain is 15.5 miles away offering hiking, snowboarding, skiing, Nordic skiing, downhill skiing, and sledding. Pack your clubs and hit the links at Stratton Mountain Golf Course, 16 miles away. Mt Snow, a true outdoor haven, is a short 10-mile drive southwest.

Owners must be responsible for their dogs and clean up after them. Dogs should not be left alone in the home.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
