For an older style property very well looked after like anywhere few little things but the staff were right on it and fi

Location and the price and the helpful staff nothing was a problem. They sorted things out for me. That was nothing to do with the hotel. Very helpful all round. Highly recommend the property and staff.

Other than the two issues we encountered our stay was enjoyable.

Good location, rooms are large.

We were disappointed with a couple of issues during our stay. The fridge in our room wasn’t working and it took two days for staff to fix it. Because of this, we had to throw out a large amount of milk and food that spoiled, which was frustrating and costly. On top of that, we were charged for extra cleaning due to an accidental stain on the bedding caused by our children. While we understand cleaning fees can apply, it felt unfair to be charged for this when we had already lost food due to the faulty fridge — something that was completely outside our control. Overall, the combination of the fridge issue, the food loss, and the additional cleaning charge left us feeling quite disappointed.

⭐ 1-Star Review Absolutely the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. I booked Awilla Villa for 8 days and it was an absolute disaster from the moment I checked in. The photos online look nothing like the reality. The villa was unlivable, and here is exactly what I experienced: • No hot water for the entire stay – 8 days of cold showers • Air conditioner not working in Bali heat • Toilets constantly blocked due to faulty plumbing (and staff tried to blame guests) • The villa was unstable, unsafe, and poorly maintained • I was told I could shower in a completely different villa, which is unacceptable • Staff insisted issues were “normal” even though I have full video evidence Instead of fixing anything properly, they offered me only AUD $200 for a stay that cost over $1,000. When I requested a full refund, the property gave false and conflicting information, trying to blame Booking.com even though their own staff told my management that the refund was Awilla’s responsibility. The lack of honesty, accountability, and professionalism is shocking. I travel to Bali often and have stayed in many villas — this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I spent 8 days in uncomfortable, unsafe conditions and was not provided the service, facilities, or quality advertised. Avoid this villa at all costs. There are plenty of beautiful, well-maintained villas in Bali — this is not one of them.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Hygiene, Mold, and Maintenance Issues

Nothing at all.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Awila Villa Kuta was unacceptable and far from what was advertised. The villa was in a filthy and poorly maintained condition, making our stay uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. Here’s what we encountered: • Dirty, stained linens and pillows, some with visible marks that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned at all. • Yellow, worn-out towels that were clearly old and unhygienic. • Bathroom ventilation full of thick dust and grime — clearly neglected for a long time. • Moldy and peeling paint on the walls, especially near curtains and mirrors. • Old, rusting safe inside the wardrobe — it didn’t look secure or usable. • Unclean door frames and furniture with grime and mold buildup. • Pillows were flat and lumpy, providing zero comfort or support. • Toilets and bathroom corners looked like they had not been properly scrubbed in ages. All of this made the villa feel unsanitary and not worth the price paid. The property clearly needs a deep clean and serious maintenance upgrades. Unfortunately, this stay was more stressful than relaxing. I would strongly discourage others from booking here unless the property undergoes major renovations and cleaning improvements. Gustu was an amazing host, he was always responsive via whatsapp and if he wasn't on shift he arranged somebody who was very quickly and effortlessly. The entire staff were kind, helpful and respectful.

Family villa stay

The villa for a family of four was a very good size with cold pool in a nice garden courtyard, rooms and beds were big, air con worked well in all parts of the villa. Master suite bathroom was huge and the other 2 were good size all with good storage space and good water pressure hot and cold. Breakfast included and delivered to villa each morning at your time request with choice of eggs, sausages, ham, fruit , juice tea or coffee. 🍳☕🍉 room cleaned every day and staff will help you with anything 😊🙏

Only thing was a big spider in the room I asked staff and taking care of very quickly. 😝👍

Грязно! Очень грязно. Старые полотенца с несмываемыми пятнами (на просьбу принести новые принесли стопку таких же) и жёлтое постельное бельё. Вся мебель старая и сильно изношенная. Сантехника и кондиционеры работают на последнем издыхании. Персонал даже не пытается работать нормально: любую просьбу приходится повторять по несколько раз. Бассейн после каждого дождя нужно чистить — в него стекает вся грязь с крыши. А дорога к отелю после дождя и вовсе превращается в непроходимое болото, так что даже в ближайший магазин приходилось ехать на такси.
