About this cottage rental
Les Gîtes de La Croix Liaud consists of three charming, restored, and modernized independent cottages that can comfortably accommodate a total of 13 people in a stone building.
The pool, garden, and recreation room (pool table, ping-pong, foosball), accessible to all, will help you unwind and relax.
The variety of nearby activities (Puy du Fou, the sea, the Marais Poitevin, bungee jumping, the zoo, the forest, and amusement parks) will appeal to everyone.
Accommodations
There are 3 cottages, 6 bedrooms, 3 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, and 3 terraces to accommodate you comfortably, without feeling cramped.
Each cottage has its own entrance and direct access to the parking area within the property
• The first cottage has 3 full bedrooms (200 beds):
- First floor: 1 bedroom with a double bed (180×200) and a sink.
- Upstairs: 1 bedroom with two single beds (90×200).
- On the mezzanine level: one bedroom with a double bed (140×200).
The kitchen opens onto the living/dining area
The bathroom on the first floor includes a shower and a toilet. You’ll find a separate toilet upstairs
• The second cottage has two full bedrooms upstairs:
- One bedroom with a double bed (180×200) and a bathroom. Upon request, the bed can be converted into two 90×200 beds
- One bedroom with a double bed (140×190) and a single bed (90×190).
The kitchen opens onto the living/dining area
The upstairs bathroom includes a toilet and a multi-jet shower.
• The studio on the first floor includes:
– A living area with a sleeping area (a full double bed measuring 160×200).
– A separate, fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
– A bathroom with a multi-jet shower and toilet.
Each cottage has its own furnished terrace with a BBQ.
The 35 m² terrace of the large cottage easily accommodates a table setting for up to 13 guests (when all 3 cottages are rented privately)
The pool, recreation room, and outdoor areas are available for your use (shared with other guests).
• Guest access
- The La Croix Liaud vacation rentals are located 5 minutes from a bakery (Vouvant) and less than 10 minutes from La Châtaigneraie (Super U, Lidl, etc.).
- The property is located in the countryside near hiking trails and bike routes (GR de Mélusine, etc.).
- A parking lot is available on the property.

Towels and bed linens are provided
Upon arrival, you’ll find everything you need to get started:
- dish towels, sponge, dish soap, cleaning supplies
- spices, oils, vinegar, paper towels,
- toilet paper
- hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel
The kitchen is equipped with a standard coffee maker (filter) and a "Dolce Gusto" pod coffee maker
The nearest shops are located in La Chataigneraie (7 km): small shops, restaurants, Intermarché, Hyper U, Lidl; or in Vouvant (5 km): bakery, grocery store, pharmacy, etc.
Upon request, we can provide you every morning with pastries (croissants and pain au chocolat) and artisanal baguettes.
The products are handmade using French ingredients, sourced from a professional bakery, and baked on-site. Orders for specific products and quantities must be placed no later than 6:00 PM the day before.
Our private residence is adjacent to the vacation rentals. We are available to answer any questions or address any issues that may arise.
The vacation rentals have direct access to the parking lot and feature a private terrace with a barbecue.
