Character cottage, with heated 4x8 pool (available from July 8), comfortable, not overlooked and very peaceful: furnished and completely renovated in 2017 of 440 m2, consisting of 5 bedrooms (possibility of 12 beds) in a Maison de Maître dating from the beginning of the 19th century, located in the heart of the town of Fontenay-le-Comte. Very beautiful volumes (heights of walls 3. 85 m).

Large, fully equipped kitchen
1 bedroom: 1 double bed with bathroom (Italian shower) and wc, access for people with reduced mobility).
Floor: Large hall, separate wc, bathroom (bath)
3 bedrooms with 160 x 200 beds. (including 1 over 45 m2) with 1 single bed in each bedroom.
Outside :
Large terrace overlooking the park. 3500 m² enclosed property with parking, garden furniture, barbecue, deckchairs, table tennis, table football, swings, adult and children's bikes, children's games ...
The price includes: beds made on arrival, cleaning and tourist tax payable by the owner

The early 19th century limestone house maintains the architectural integrity of the period in the exterior and in many of the interior spaces, where very few have been compromised to accommodate 21st century conveniences. It is a rare opportunity to live for a short period of time in authentic period architecture like this beautiful house.

Met the charming hosts at the property not realising they moved out for us to move in ! No problem we were shown around by them to a beautiful house which was plenty big enough for 4 couples and three children .
Very clean property ,good outside terrace for eating and a really warm pool , grounds large and plenty of private parking, with a short walk to the pretty local town with local bars ,restaurants, boulangerie and well stocked supermarket .
Only downside lack of basic crockery particularly cups and mugs ,also had to buy a mop as none available and as we stayed for two weeks the white kitchen floor was difficult to keep clean , towels were provide but a little worn. In the grand scheme of things minor problems
Would recommend this property for a family holiday in a lovely part of France .
