Welcome to Hillside, a Stay Here furnished home in Stilwell, KS — a stunning designer home tucked in the woods with a private campsite and fire pit, just 15 minutes from Overland Park and 25 from downtown Kansas City.
The Space:
• 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms — sleeps 14 across three levels (3 up, wheelchair-accessible main-floor bedroom, walkout basement bedroom)
• 2 huge living areas plus a massive 1,500 sq ft deck
• Fully equipped kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, dedicated workspace, fast WiFi, air conditioning, free parking
Made for longer stays: relocating families, remote workers, and large groups — 4,000 sq ft indoors plus the deck means room to truly spread out. Monthly stays welcome — message us for extended-stay rates. Our calendar is set up for 30 day stays, but we do consider shorter trips — just send us a message with your dates, what brings you to the area, and where you're traveling from, and we'll personally review your request. The wheelchair-accessible main floor keeps longer stays comfortable for everyone.

we lost electricity second night and for most of the next day. Host communicated with us regularly and was ready to intervene and find us other accommodations if power didn’t come back on. Very helpful and informative. We had a nice stay there.

Great place for a group of 8 old high school friends to get together. Host was very responsive to every question. Fire pit was a great gathering place in the evening.

Our family had a wonderful experience staying here. The location is about 5 min from town and about 25min into the heart of KC. The owner was exceptionally nice and patient. My spam filter had placed the email from the third party that helps you get inside (so check for that), and he helped us. The house offered great space for all of us. Would/Will likely stay there again in the future. Thank you so much (also 3 deer came up to the back door and it was fun to see them).
