About this house rental
Nestled in the heart of the tranquil little town of Kervenheim lies the Catholic rectory of St. Antonius Parish, built in 1870. It is surrounded by an old moated castle, the church, quaint little townhouses, and the meadows of a Trakehner stud farm.
You can rent this idyllic retreat for your personal vacations and getaways. Stay in the “St. Peter” or “Pious Mary” room and enjoy a relaxing stay in newly renovated spaces that still retain the charm of the 19th century (including access to the technological innovations of that era: electric light and hot water). Remnants of the original furnishings, imbued with the charm of the year it was built, evoke memories of days gone by.
Our vacation home, the “Old Rectory,” offers a variety of flexible living options. There are 26 beds (16 of which are available for use), distributed across nine bedrooms. The house can also be divided up wonderfully. A total of three living units can be used together or occupied separately. The ground-floor apartment is wheelchair-accessible; all rooms can be accessed by wheelchair. Each living unit is equipped with a separate bathroom and kitchen. In the mornings, the scent of fresh bread from the nearby bakery wafts down Pastoratstraße; there’s a place to eat within walking distance.
