You can take a beautiful 10-15 minute walk down to the Esplanade at Rio Del Mar for lunch, dinner or a gorgeous sunset beach stroll!
Casa Rio Del Mar has a dramatic 2 story entrance – the light filled home will welcome you immediately upon arrival! The downstairs level features a large and open living room and dining area, connected to the kitchen. Down the hall are 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds, and a shared bathroom with Shower/Tub combo. The garage is available for parking a vehicle, and also houses the washer and dryer.
Enter upstairs to the reading nook; this quiet seating area is perfect for curling up with a good book! Attached is the Great Room – a massive Family/Entertainment room with a Smart TV, Kitchen and Bar, wood burning fireplace, tons of comfortable seating, and a deck with a grill and outdoor seating. Upstairs also features the Master Bathroom and the Master Bedroom with a King sized bed, and private terrace.

Worked perfectly for a family visit. Beach access 1 block away. Beds comfortable. Everything supplied that you would need. Beautiful tv room with wood burning fireplace …extra kitchen. Great for family time. The only objection…. 4:00 PM check in— 10:00AM check out. Not reasonable. Would stay again

Love the location, can walk to the beach.and in a really nice nieghborhood. Liked having the extra living room and kitchenette upstairs for cooking prep and game nights ( even tho the stove top upstairs wasnt working while we were there. ) Main Kitchen is small but had plenty of pots and pans and cooking stuff.

This was a great house for my husband and I, three kids, and dog. There was lots of room and it was very clean and had all the things we needed for a long weekend. We appreciated having close access to a path down to the beach and a nice quiet neighborhood to relax in.

I really wanted to love this property, because the top level of the house really is beautiful and great for relaxing, but the ease of stay and safety concerns made me drop 2 stars off my review. The first safety issue is that we arrived at night, and NO LIGHTS were left on for us. Not only that, but there is NO CELL SERVICE in or around the house. We had to leave and find service so that I could download the instructions and entry code, as well as the wifi login info. Second, the wall switches don't actually turn on any lights, so I was stumbling around in the dark trying to find the lamp knobs. Coupled with the fact that there are a few ill-placed steps, it is only a matter of time before someone else falls and sues. I tripped twice down these steps in the dark before finding the lamps, and luckily wasn't injured. One final safety concern is that the door from the upstairs master bedroom that leads to the outside deck does not lock. Personally, my biggest issue that upset me was that I rented this house based on the cover photo, which I now know had to have been taken with a drone, looking down on the house. I rented this thinking I could let my 93 yr old mom sit on a deck and look out at the ocean while I worked. Obviously my fault for not digging deeper, but that photo is really misleading. Communication with the property managers was sketchy at best. Sometimes they wrote back within an hour or two, but other questions I had were never answered.
