Eclectic & Fun Lumberyard Urban Cabin #1 in downtown, next to NAU

We really enjoyed our three nights in this cosy cabin. There are many reasons why we rated this accommodation a solid 10. Communication with the owner was excellent, the place was clean, the cabin is within easy walking distance to the historic downtown as well as the university. We were there in summer when the university was quiet so noise was not an issue. The appliances were modern but there is no dishwasher, which is not a big deal. Free off street parking was available. Everything worked as it should. One final item needs to be mentioned. The shower is in a claw foot tub which would be a major problem for anyone with mobility issues. In summary, we would definitely rent this cabin again.

This is a lovely space, walking distance to downtown and NAU, with plenty of room for everyone in our group. The offstreet parking was so convenient. The host was easy to communicate with. We had a great stay.

The property was comfortable for the most part. Clean, comfortable beds, furniture. Air conditioning worked great. Kitchen was good though we only used the refrigerator. Overall the place is in need of updating, I.e. chipped/missing patch of flooring; loose and poor plumbing including bathroom sink not draining well. The bathtub/shower were poor. It’s a few foot step over edge of bathtub to get into tub to shower which has poor water flow. There are no bathroom pics on VRBO site and I think that is the reason. The freestanding tub has poor water protection on the sides and puddles were usual with showers. Current updates were cheaply done.
