About this cottage rental
We rent out our lovely cottage, which is located in the hills between the towns of Garda and Bardolino on Lake Garda. The house has been owned by the family for almost 30 years, and we are well known in the area.
Lake Garda provides the perfect setting for a successful family holiday. Around Lake Garda there are many small and cozy towns with nice little shops and sidewalk restaurants. If you want to walk / cycle in the mountains, the Alps are close by. If you want a city break, fantastic Verona is 15 minutes away, it is just over an hour to Milan and to Venice. In addition, there are opportunities to play golf. Short distance to the amusement parks of Gardaland and Aqualand.
The house is a detached house that is chained in a series of 5 units. It is located in an approx. 250 acres of private and tranquil park (Parco Murlongo), a communal facility with a total of 62 houses, in the hills opposite the towns of Garda and Bardolino.
In the park there is a private swimming pool, children's pool, tennis court, small playground for young children, as well as private parking.
All roads between houses and facilities are car-free.
The house is built over two floors. You enter the upper floor, which has an open solution with a living room, dining area and kitchen. There is direct access to a small covered terrace overlooking a beautiful wine landscape.
International Satellite TV (German, English etc, but not Norwegian).
Downstairs, which is also high above ground level, there are two bedrooms and a new bathroom with shower and washing machine (renovated in 2013).
Just 20 minutes from the house is the lovely town of Verona, known as Romeo and Julie's hometown.

Relaxing days not far from Garda and Bardolino. With our bikes we could arrive nearly everything.

Firstly, the villa was a Beautiful authentic Italian style home. Traditional decor and furnishings gave it a warm and welcoming feel. The villa was clean and tidy when we arrived which made it easy to get settled and unpack.
The location is beautiful but also convenient. Perched on a hillside overlooking the vineyards in a peaceful residential park away from the chaos.
A 5 minute drive in any direction and you can find all the local amenities such as supermarkets, bars and restaurants and also fuel stations.
The facilities at the villa were more than expected. From the fully equipped kitchen to the fans and aircon unit. My personal favourite.. The coffee machine!
The Lake is only a 10 minute drive down a beautiful winding hillside with an amazing view from start to finish. The daily drive into Garda never gets old as you turn the sharp bends and see the turquoise water sparkling in the distance.
The Owner, was fantastic from start to finish. He answered all my questions in great detail and provided information sheets prior to my arrival. From local diners to directions to and from the airport, he definitely made our time as easy as possible.
Thanks for our stay, we would recommend anyone to come and stay and I guarantee you'll have an amazing time!

The property was ideal for our 4 person family. It was well equipped with everything we needed. On arrival the property was really clean and tidy and the furnishing was very tasteful and comfortable. Parco Murlongo, where the property is situated, is really lovely with a fantastic swimming pool and amazing views of the local Vineyards. All of the other guests / residents that we met were very friendly.
The location of the property is perfect being 10 mins away from Garda or Bardolino and only 5 mins away from Costermano where the nearest large supermarket is.
The owner is very friendly and went out of his way to answer any questions we had. He provided us with a really helpful info sheet.
All in all we had a fantastic and memorable holiday and a very large part of this was because of the villa we stayed in. We can't thank the owner enough for letting us stay there. It was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay - the house has a perfect location and size for a family holiday at the Lago die Gardo. Owner was very friendly and responsive - we will come back!
