About this country house rental
Set in 50 acres of meadow and woodlands between Toulouse and Bordeaux and part of a beautiful 150 year old farmhouse with 12m x 6m pool, this gite has been sympathetically restored to a very high standard. Tranquil and private, a fantastic location.
By the pilgrimage route to Saint Jacques de Compostelle and la Chevauchée d’Henri IV, we are located in the heart of beautiful Gascony, between the lively towns of Nérac and Condom.
The property is split into two adjoining buildings but only rented together to the same group.
Gite 1
The gite is arranged over two floors (95m2).
Downstairs there is a very spacious living area with satellite TV, DVD, WiFi and music system. Fully equipped kitchen. Double patio doors opening onto terrace BBQ and pool area.
Upstairs there are 2 Large double bedrooms with own ensuite and far reaching views.
Gite 2
The gite is arranged over two floors (145m2).
Downstairs there is a very spacious living area with satellite TV, DVD, WiFi and music system. Toilet. Fully equipped kitchen. Double patio doors opening onto terrace BBQ and pool area.
Upstairs there are 3 Large double bedrooms (1 en-suite) with far reaching views. A separate bathroom and toilet.
The pool is 6m x 12m. On site, other activities include table tennis, basketball, shooting, archery, cycling, board games, or just relaxing.
The pool and gardens are tended weekly. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly. A cleaning service is available.
Close by you can enjoy just about anything - walks, cycling, golf, tennis, horse riding, kayaking, karting, theme parks, shopping, wine and armagnac tasting, casinos and much more.
Further afield, day trips will allow you to enjoy the beach on the Atlantic or Mediterranean coast, skiing, surfing, rafting.
We are located in an area famous for its gastronomy. Surrounded by opportunities to visit markets, chateaux, and domains, you can enjoy sampling the local food, wine and armagnac before settling into a relaxing meal at one of the many restaurants, from auberge to Michelin star.
Throughout the year there are numerous fetes, music festivals and exhibitions.
To make your holiday even more enjoyable, we can arrange for a local chef to prepare delicious French cuisine at very reasonable prices, allowing you to spend a relaxing evening in.
For that extra special something, we can arrange for a range of therapists to spend an hour, a day (or more if you want!) with you. These offer services ranging from complementary therapies to help you relax and improve your general well being to traditional beauty treatments and exercise.

Owners were excellent in all communication and were very friendly. The property was exactly how we imagined - beautiful. The area is simply stunning. We had the best 10 days at the Farmhouse. Everyone slept well and enough bathrooms for all guests too. Kitchen is huge with enough dining space inside and out. If we had to offer any constructive criticism it would be to have more water glasses and to have a pair of oven gloves (or we couldn’t find any). Overall it was an excellent choice for our family to enjoy a very peaceful setting. Thank you to the owners.

Baron-Figus is a little slice of heaven in the French countryside and provides the ideal setting to immerse yourself in a local experience. A wonderful opportunity to cook with interesting local ingredients and come away with some tasty recipes and clever tips. I found the entire experience relaxing and a lot of fun. Carolyn and Adam are fabulous hosts who leave you feeling like an old friend catching up over great food and wine

Had I taken the time to define what would be the perfect trip for me, I could not have imagined the trip to be as perfect as it actually was.
Well equiped inside and out, clean and secluded.
Plenty of restaurants nearby and lots to see and do. Great for walking and cycling.
We all had a great time.
I am definitely planning to return to experience another vacation of a lifetime! The pictures don’t do it justice.

Host was very welcoming, met us at property with no delays for key handover. Had left a 'welcome pack' including milk, tea/coffee/juice. The property was exactly as described (we had the entire home) and perfect for our extended family group. Well stocked kitchen. There were many activities provided (swimming pool, badminton, table tennis, pool table). We used the barbecue almost every night. Fairly remote, but easy enough to get to town for shopping by car.

I loved all the activities available, the privacy of the property, the fact that all rooms have their own bathroom, the fact that the kitchens had all the utensils we needed and that we had barbecue facilities.
