About this cottage rental
Price for 23 people, to adjust together according to the size of your group. 2 stone buildings of 1800 renovated in 2012-2018, belonging to 2 people of the same family, on a 59 ha land of which 3 ha are available for our visitors, with orchards (seasonal fruits offered), sources and dots water, pastures for our Icelandic horses, geese and chickens ('for eggs), southern exposure.
Many animals live on site in harmony, dogs, cats, white pigeons pigeons, chickens, roosters and geese can enter the buildings when the doors are open, also wild (coypu, herons, deer, water hens, various birds, fox and badger at night) and we appreciate the visitors who agree to adapt a little to the rules of life in the countryside to better enjoy.
It is possible to accommodate up to 9 people in the "sun shelter", with sheltered terrace to the South and overlooking the terraces of berries and water points, and up to 14 people in the northern part, along from the small road, which also houses a large dining room, a veranda oriented to the west and a large garden shed built in solid oak.
Depending on the size of the group it is therefore possible to rent the 2 buildings separately or together.
We are not hoteliers, they are charming houses that contain some private memories and personal belongings in a few limited places, between 2 groups we will give priority to the one who seems to us the best able to respect our project, the buildings, furniture and animals.
The bedding is new and of very good quality.
An indoor pool / spa accessible from 2 buildings was built in late 2018 in the last room available, it will be accessible free to anyone who is respectful of our little rules. Photos and a more detailed description will be posted online in early 2019.
The natural basin, very pleasant in summer, protected from the presence of geese and nutria by a stainless protection, allows to swim about fifteen meters for visitors not afraid of aquatic life (fish, crayfish, frogs) which abounds and the carpet of dead leaves that covers its bottom hard.
American billiards, punching bag, 5 bikes and mountain bikes, an indoor bike, an elliptical, a drawbar, a boat for 5 people for the pool, a game of boules and Mölki, board games, a sauna (in cold weather only), a small jacuzzi (2 adults), 2 hammocks (including a 3 seats) are already available for our visitors in the summer of 2018, a free tennis court is in the town of Saint-Mézard.
We prefer to exchange with our visitors, show them water points, horses and orchards on the day of arrival for greater autonomy thereafter.
We are also at the disposal of our visitors to help them discover the most beautiful villages of Gers and Lot-et-Garonne.
We are used to working with French customers of course, but also from Central and Northern Europe, many German, Nordic, Dutch, British and Polish friends have already stayed with us in recent years and Germans have participated in the work.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce logement. La maison est grande pour accueillir un groupe conséquent (nous étions 15, prévu 17). Le propriétaire fait le maximum pour rendre notre week-end le plus agréable possible. Nous étions au calme, au milieu des animaux (oies, poules, chevaux...). La piscine n'est pas grande et d'interieur mais suffisante pour y faire un plouf et permet aux enfants de s'amuser tout autant, elle correspond a la description sur le site. Nous étions tous ravi de nous retrouver et d'apprécier ces 2 jours. Si nous décidons de revenir dans la région, nous louerons de nouveau ce logement sans hésiter.

Nous avons passé un très agréable week-end entre amis ou les petits comme les grands y trouvent leur compte merci à Xavier pour l’accueil je recommande a tte personnes souhaitant s’évader en famille ou en amis et amoureux de la nature du calme et de la simplicité 😊😊

Une expérience extraordinaire pour notre mariage petit comité! Tout le monde à apprécier le cadre offert par cette demeure et le cadre atypique au milieu de la nature! Le maître des lieux est agréable une belle personne aux petits soins pour que vous appréciez votre villégiature! Piscine vélo sac de frappe sauna etc... les activités proposées ne manquent pas pour en profiter à 100% !! Je recommande les yeux fermés aux amoureux de la nature et aux personnes en recherche d'un cadre calme et reposant ! Un endroit où il fait bon vivre qui a contribué à la réussite de cette journée spéciale !

Nous avons passé 3 jours en famille, nous étions 19 et 3 générations. Nous avons tous adoré le lieu et la maison, mais également tous les animaux. Les enfants étaient au paradis. C’est un endroit dépaysant et ressourçant.
Merci à Xavier qui a répondu à toutes nos attentes et à fait de notre séjour un moment inoubliable.
