The rooms are lovely and very clean! The have sort of an indoor outdoor pool as seen on the photo of the property

The first night was okay apart from the poor internet however the second night was worse since we had no electricity, no water for a shower and no WiFi. We checked out straight after breakfast since it did not meet our expectations

it’s not a 3 star hotel, closer to hostel level with a swimming pool

desk staff tried to help on the day of arrival

First of all, I don’t know who puts 8 or 10 to this hotel. Nobody speaks English at this pousada. And it’s in Paraty, Unesco heritage site. There are no toiletries in the room. The girl at the desk told me : “we don’t have it”. Even soap was absent. and this is a 3 star hotel! the walls in rooms are thin. expect to hear neighbors. many rooms face the road. The breakfast is super basic: a bit of ham, cheese, banana and mango.

Tivemos um problema com a limpeza da acomodação que havíamos reservado antes e então fizemos a reserva de última hora para a Casa Poema. Foi uma grata surpresa, desde que chegamos, a Rafaela nos recebeu e foi muito prestativa e atenciosa. Adoramos a nossa estadia, o quarto era muito limpo, o lugar é muito charmoso e tem uma vibe muito boa. Os funcionários são todos muito queridos, desde a recepcionista até as meninas da limpeza. Recomendamos de olhos fechados e quando tivermos a oportunidade de voltar à Paraty, com certeza ficaremos nesse hotel.

O Wifi no quarto não era muito bom, mas nada que tenha interferido na nossa estadia.

Café da manhã deixou a desejar: no primeiro dia haviam outros hóspedes. O café foi servido esquema Buffet. No dia seguinte, como estávamos somente nós, a variedade foi reduzida e foi colocada em porção na mesa. Senti falta de suco de laranja e mais frutas.

Melhor café da manhã de Paraty

A pousada tem um café da manhã muito gostoso, com vários bolos, iogurtes caseiros, pães artesanais, a equipe foi toda muito solicita, a Vivi nos recebeu super bem no check-in, a limpeza estava incrível todos os dias e as instalações da pousada são super novinhas, recomendo.

O quarto não é funcional, alguns detalhes poderiam fazer diferença para deixar a experiência no quarto muito mais agradável. Não tem onde colocar nem uma bolsa, tive que tirar o abaju da cabeceira para poder colocar a bolsa da minha esposa. Não tem lugar para colocar as malas, nem aqueles bancos de alumínio, tudo tudo tem que ficar no chão. Não tem um lixo para colocar uma embalagem de plástico ou etiqueta, tem que colocar no lixo do banheiro. Não tem lugar para pendurar a toalha de mão do banheiro. São detalhes mas tornariam a experiência muito mais agradável.

Um hotel com o nome certo: a casa é mesmo um poema! Adoramos.

Adoramos estar na Casa Poema. É tudo novo, organizado e de bom gosto. Fomos recebidos com muita gentileza e simpatia por Marcos e Rafaela. O café da manhã é uma delícia: bolos e pães feitos pela equipe. Tudo saboroso e fresco. As funcionárias responsáveis pela cozinha e pela limpeza são maravilhosas, sempre atentas para o que precisássemos. É possível chegar ao Centro Histórico a pé, mas achamos que é mais confortável e rápido fazer o trajeto de carro. Com certeza vamos voltar. Foi uma experiência muito bacana! :)

Não gostei do fato de estar um pouco distante do centro histórico, mas por outro lado, isso traz tranquilidade para dormir. Sossego! É bom ficar um pouco afastado da agitação do centro.
