We loved our stay here. Check in was super easy, Andi was a great host and made sure we had everything for a comfortable stay. The cabin was very nice and clean and AC worked good. Kids loved the kayaks, cruising the trails on the side by side, climbing trees, and fishing. We caught many bass. Nice fire pit with lots of firewood. Good outdoor lighting. Lots of deer around was nice to see. Games and fishing equipment were provided. Plenty of comfy beds and a nice updated feel throughout. Beautiful property. Don’t pass on this one. We will be back!!

Our weekend stay was absolutely incredible and the host was super informative. My husband and I had a great time exploring all of the trails and had a successful time fishing. We can't say enough good things about the property/hosts. We will be back!

We had a great visit. When we pulled up to the house, there were 2 deer across the creek. It looked staged, we joked that the deer had rehearsed. The patio area is beautiful and a nice spot to hang out. Our daughters enjoyed catching small fish and lightning bugs. We also enjoyed driving on the trails.

Beyond our expectations. We have never enjoyed ourselves at a rental like we did here. The ranch was bursting with life! The native plants were so beautiful, and the air smelled like heaven. The drive here was fantastic, so beautiful it will take your breath away! Rolling up to the cabin we couldnt believe how we lucked out! The river gorgeous in early summer! Peak Texas Ranch Experience!

Our family of 5 and dog had a fantastic weekend at this cabin. The kids loved the bunk beds, entire family loved the UTV. Host was great to communicate with and cabin was nicely stocked for cooking. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time at the cabin on Comanche Creek. We were there to relax and celebrate my husbands birthday and it was exactly what we wanted. The house is very nice and clean. We enjoyed roaming around the property on the buggy. The creek was pretty low due to the drought which caused a lot of snakes to be present so we did not get in. It was nice to see wildlife and just relax in nature. Andi was very prompt in responding when I reached out. We really enjoyed ourselves and I know our dogs enjoyed it too.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was comfortable and clean for my wife and I and two young children (and two dogs). We stayed for three nights and never left the property. The house had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive and check in and out was super easy. If you want a quiet secluded location to unwind this is the place. We would definitely book it again.

The cabin and property are so wonderful! We spent a beautiful weekend in a serene environment, completely unplugged. Andi was amazing and helpful. It was great using the Ranger to drive around the property. Everyone had such a great time. The cabin interior is so lovely, and stayed very cool despite the unseasonably warm weather on Saturday. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Andi has found a great balance between modern comfort and remote retreat. The cabin is cozy and comfortable with everything that we needed. We were able to relax and enjoy family time. We cooked and grilled good food while we played cards and games. The provided UTV was fantastic and allowed us to enjoy the entire property. We had coffee by the creek, fished a little, played yard games in the park, and were able to walk the trails with our dogs off leash (fantastic!). We hope to be back soon.

This was our second stay, and it was as delightful as can be! We love riding the buggies around, porch sitting, identifying birds, kayaking, and fishing, fishing, fishing! The cabin is so cute and cozy. It’s one of our favorite places to visit in the hill country!

My wife and I made a quick trip after Christmas to relax together in quiet. This place was perfect. Beautiful country setting and the side by side was a great perk to explore the property. We will come back for sure

This quaint cabin couldn’t have been more perfect for a romantic getaway. It was so remote, quiet and peaceful. No distractions, but I reiterate it is REMOTE!!! Nothing around for miles. We loved it!!!

The property and cabin were perfect. Everything very clean and well maintained. Plenty of good roads/paths to explore and the scenery was top notch. Lots of deer, turkey, and pigs to check out at the feeders. Could not have picked a better place for our needs. Llano, wineries, longhorn cavern all within 30-40 minutes. Thank you hosts for offering such a cool place.

Me and my husband stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. Andi is awesome and very sweet. The whole property is so beautiful and easy to navigate around in the UTV. The little cabin is the perfect size for the two of us and our dog. It is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and enjoy some peace and quiet. We will for sure be coming back in hopefully the near future!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil peace of the ranch. The house has fantastic windows keeping the night quiet despite the active nature outside. Stargazing and nightly fires were a highlight of our stay. The buggy was an added benefit and a source of enjoyment watching and “avoiding” some of the biggest grasshoppers I’ve ever seen. If your looking for a serene, secluded locale, this is the place to be.

The cabin and grounds were perfect for a quiet stay for 2, but we're already thinking of another trip with family! Great amenities and perfect hill country setting. The spring flowers were priceless!!

This was our second stay, and we had another great vacation for our family of five + dog. Lots of wildlife, with a bonus of seeing a pair of nesting bald eagles within walking/hiking distance.
The owners have added WiFi this year, which was much appreciated.
The property caretakers live nearby and are friendly and helpful, as is the owner.
I don't really understand reviews that dock stars for the drought. Spring 2024 had considerably more river water than 2023, but it's still low. For us, this does not affect our enjoyment, but if that matters to you, maybe check before your stay.
We're thinking about renting the adjacent property (same owner) next year and bringing more family. Coming back is the best positive review I can give!

Wonderful experience! Our family enjoyed our stay here. Peaceful and relaxing. Nicely stocked with things that made our stay comfortable. Our pets loved the wide open spaces and we loved exploring the property on the golf cart. The teens got their internet fix with reliable wifi. Great communication from the host. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy getaway.

The communication was top notch. Very cozy cabin with lots of wide open spaces for the kids. We loved the availbility of the cart to explore the property.
10.0 / 10.0
I can genuinely say we had an incredible time.
The vibe is total tranquility. From the comfortable accommodations to the large chime in the patio area and the far away squeak of the windmill.
Andi is a fantastic communicator. She reaffirmed throughout the process that the creek bed would be dry; our expectations were completely set before traveling out to the property. The absence of water in no way diminished our experience. Andi offered us an early check in and late check out, informed us about spotty cell service and no Wi-Fi; this was not an issue for us as we were looking to unplug.
Wildlife! We saw buck, longhorn, porcupine, lizards, toads and turtles. The pinnacle of my experience was birding: Great Blue Heron, Painted Bunting, Blue-gray Gnat Catcher and Summer Tanager! If you're a birder, this property is a real treat (the place is lousy with Tanager and Bunting)!
Our dogs were with us, we went on several walks around the grounds. I would recommend that unless your dog is your shadow or has excellent recall, you should consider keeping them leashed.
The golf cart was such a wonderful addition, we took it out each day checking out the different flora and fauna.
The kitchen is fully stocked and the propane grill was great for our dinners. There are binoculars in the kitchen which I used for ogling birds, there is ample outdoor seating and the house is even stocked with some games!
When we left we kept saying what an amazing time we had. Highly recommend.
4.0 / 10.0
We traveled 3.5 hours to use our kayaks and there was no water. we were not able to sit outside due to too many spiders and spider webs on the porch. We could not find a broom to try and clean the porch in order to sit outside. Right when we walked in there was a scorpion in the kitchen and there is a black widow spider on the manual gate to get on property. our stay there was very uncomfortable and this place is way over priced. the listing and pictures need to be updated so that others do not waste their hard earned money on it. we only get one vacation a year and this just broke my heart.

Stayed here with a friend and had a great time. Property is very nice. River dry due to low aquifers. Golf cart is awesome and allows you to explore the property. Thank you for providing it.

Beautiful property with plenty of charm. Lovely wildflowers and the biggest grasshoppers anywhere. Enjoyed an excursion around the property on the buggy. Nice amenities and we didn’t even miss the Wi-Fi. Will definitely watch for future water levels as we would love to fish the creek one day.

Great cabin on a great property. Our family enjoyed the peace and quiet! We were a little disappointed there was no running water in the river, but did find a nice size rattler in the dry river bed!! We would go back, after some heavy rain! Thank you

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The property is just beautiful and we loved driving the buggy around and seeing the animals. The house was well appointed and very clean. The bed is very comfortable! The creek was still pretty low but we did a little fishing one day and caught some catfish. The owner was so helpful during our stay, can’t say enough good things about this place. We would definitely return!
