During our stay in this very nice house it was very hot in the French alps - all days more than 30°C.
Thanks to the fact that the house is located at 840 m above sea level it was significantly cooler there than down in the valley (570 m above sea level).
Hiking routes pass by very close and it is very easy to find some shadow in the forrest. Attractive destinations for day tours are very close and easy to reach.
The landlord is very friendly and provides support when ever needed. Thank you very much!
The parking place in front of the house is large enough for a van and very comfortable.
The house and the kitchen offer all needed for a great, relaxing time in the mountains.

A family of four with children of 6 and 9, we stayed for a week in this beautiful chalet which is the top part of the owner's own home - a self contained chalet with its own entrance. The views are absolutely beautiful, the quality of the chalet is very high and the owner supplies everything you could possibly need. The location is great for spending time in the mountains whether you are there for the snow or for summer activities. Easy reach (by car) of Saint Gervais and Chamonix in particular. We also had a really lovely welcome from the owner when we arrived. Can't recommend this enough.

Everything was as mentioned on the site, and better. We first tought it would be small, but it was perfect. Everything was clean and in a perfect condition. We couldn't find anything that wasn't present in the house. The owner was very nice and realy helpfull.
We had a perfect (ski) holiday and would recommand this house to everyone.
